Sandman9000 Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 I want a cookie. And forgive me for my ignorance, but isn't bench/IR the same thing, or do we have to grab three more people to fill out the IR, and we can swap as necessary?
razazteca Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 IR does not matter until somebody get injuried and has IR next to their name.
Lightning Flik Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 IR does not matter until somebody get injuried and has IR next to their name. Or is NA I think... Might be wrong on that.
razazteca Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 NA just mean not available or not active or something, like if they were in contract holdouts.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Yeah, so guys who are suspended(Richardson, Webber) can't go on the IR as far as I know
HarleyQuinn Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Whoo...check out my team's "PPG" ratio, yet again I'm Mr. Consistency(or Mr. Average depending on your take) Jason Williams: 12 PPG Shane Battier: 9.7 PPG Shawn Marion: 21.2 PPG Troy Murphy: 11.7 PPG Theo Ratliff: 8.7 PPG Nene Hilario: 10.5 PPG Jason Richardson: 15.6 PPG Tony Battie: 7.3 PPG
Guest Just J Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 My team also has a pretty good PPG. I think I have a pretty good chance as long as Kobe plays 2/3 of the season and Lebron continues to throw those assist out of his ass.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Lebron will likely help out a lot on boards/assists more so then points, I'd expect about this ratio over the season - 9.2 PPG, 6.7 RPG, 7.7 APG, 0.6 SPG, 0.2 BPG
razazteca Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 I need a guard with good assist numbers, I am willing to trade a forward for one.

Ray Allen 22.5 PPG Antwain Jamison 22.2 PPG Jalen Rose 22.1 PPG Desmond Mason 14.3 PPG Morris Petterson 14.1 PPG Eric Snow 12.9 PPG Pat Garrity 10.9 PPG And my newest aquistions on the 22nd: Alvin Williamson 13.2 PPG Eric Dampier 8.0 PPG I've got more consistancy with a total PPG Team Average of: 15.58 As your is: 10.74
Lightning Flik Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 I need a guard with good assist numbers, I am willing to trade a forward for one. My recommondation: Howard Eisley (PG-NY), he's got a 5.4 APG, and is a free agent as well. After looking over your team, the downside I see to this, is you have to probably drop Keon Clark. Not a good moment for you, but it might have to be.
Lightning Flik Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 (edited) Edit: Fuck. Had the wrong team up... Stupid names. I'll get them right sooner or later. Edited October 20, 2003 by Lightning Flik
razazteca Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Paul Pierce PPG 25.9 Sam Cassell PPG 19.7 Gordan Giricek PPG 12.3 Radoslav Nesterovic PPG 11.2 Marc Jackson PPG 5.5 has done well in preseason with double digit avg Carmelo Anthony ROY will make WOODY PAIGE mark like a little girl Shareef Aldul Rahim PPG 19.9 Drew Gooden PPG 12.5 Malik Rose PPG 10.4 has improved stats every year so could expect PPG 12
razazteca Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 However, I'm willing (once the waiver request goes through) to trade you Alvin Williamson, 5.3 APG and 13.2 PPG, for Matt Harpring. Choice is yours of course. Wrong team, I am the Guerreros. I think I am going to wait until the season starts unless I get a superstar trade.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 And no, I would no take that trade either.
Lightning Flik Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Wrong team, I am the Guerreros. I think I am going to wait until the season starts unless I get a superstar trade. I'm going to get the names right here. Ok... We've got a problem then. I won't trade Snow for Girick. Sorry. All your guy gives me is some more 3PT room. That's all. He takes away from my REBs, STLs, AST, BLKs, FGMs and FTMs. You have to do better than that Raza. Sorry. I ain't gaining in one category and losing in six others. Yes, two of them (BLKs and FGMs) are minor, but I lose about 80 STLs by accepting this trade and that's just not a good thing for me. Plus this guys only strength is that he's good at 3PTs. Maybe if you made the deal a little bit stronger on the returning end, I'd accept it.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Well, if I get Voshon Lenard on the 22nd, he'll give me 14.3 PPG or so which shall help me out tremendously since Richardson's gotten suspended
razazteca Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Well it was an opening offer, you can send a trade offer that you think is fair.
Guest Just J Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 I got rid of Eddie Griffen since he's out for a while. But I can't remember who I picked up. It said it would happen on the 21'st though.

Lightning Flik Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Well it was an opening offer, you can send a trade offer that you think is fair. I will do so, as I've got a lot of Guards now so I think a reasonable trade would be easy to accomodate both of us. Let me grab a bite to eat then I'll get back with that trade offer.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Really? It says that they won't be decided till 12:59 Pacific or whatever on the 21st and is he your first priority? If not, you'll likely get your first priority and then drop down the chart to last, etc. If you do get him though... *pulls out the mallet*

If not, you'll likely get your first priority and then drop down the chart to last, etc. If you do get him though... *pulls out the mallet* Uh Dawn... er, rather Harley, it doesn't matter. I've got both of them and no one else can get them. Priority just means which one needs to be put through ASAP. That's about it. And besides, I want both of them... If you wanna talk about trades for him ... *shrugs with a smirk* ... more than happy to hear what you have to say. And Raza, I can't make the trade just yet, but I'll propose it here instead. Edit: Reason for why it can't go down right yet, Alvin Williams is on Waivers. Alvin Williams for Drew Gordon. It's a straight up deal that gives me a good F and gives you a guy who can assist and gives you out a little more point wise. It's a pretty fair trade in my opinion. That good for you?
HarleyQuinn Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 *is confused on the waivers thing* Erm...so how do these waivers work then?
HarleyQuinn Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Also Raz, no go on the deal. Giricek is solid however Williams is the only guy on my team who's great at assists and I'd be losing around 500 assists alone which is just way too much considering they are very close in FGM, FTM, Blocks, Steals and Points. You might want to try and pick up Charlie Ward as he'll be the starting PG for the Knicks and is capable of 3-7 assists per game and is able to also help chip in 10+ points.
Lightning Flik Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 *is confused on the waivers thing* Erm...so how do these waivers work then? Like if there was a limit on the wavier requests you can make (yes, you can alter that), you can then prioritize which transaction you want to happen first. Yes, it's a little wacked up, but that's how it works.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Is there a way to find out which team has top billing in the waiver request thing?
Cuban Linx Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 The Team & Manager List shows everyone's waiver priority.
