Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

I love this game. 3D RPG's are cool, but I just love Square's 2D RPG'ers. The only thing that I'd ask for is actual towns for you to free-roam about in. Other than that, the game is golden. 200+ missions and clan wars to boot, this f'n rules!

Anyone else pick it up?

I haven't yet, but I sooo want to! So, ya know, feel free to tell all the good stuff about it.

Do you have the GBA SP? If so, how great is is? I got the old model of GBA via trade a few days ago, and the screen is -torture- on the eyes.

I picked up a copy of Breath of Fire II for my GBA instead. I loved it on snes, so I'm excited to play it for GBA. I never got into strategy RPG's like Tactics.

Boktai also looks like it's a lot of fun as well, but I can't find it anywhere thus far.

I've got an SP. All I can say is that the clan wars are really fun, IMO. I know a lot of people find strategy games boring, but not me. I love games like this and Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Funny, I actually traded in my copy of Breath of Fire 2 for GBA to put towards FFTA's purchase. Nothing against BoFII, I'd just already finished it several times - I just thought it was a funny coincidence. ;p

The Game Boy SP makes everything better in your entire life. Seriously, back lighting plus internal battery plus compact enough to put in your pocket and still have room for your chap stick = GOLD.

Hellz yeah!

On a side note, does anyone know if Nintendo offers cleaning services for the GBASP? There are a few larger specs of dust on the INSIDE of my screen that really bug the shit out of me. I don't want to open it up and fuck up something, though...

I love my SP. It was great during the summer to be able to play a bit before bed.

On the inside?!

Well, you could call them and ask...

Love the SP, because you can play IN bed with it.

However, they managed to make the L and R buttons WORSE than they were on the original GBA. Geez, would it have killed them to stick two extra buttons on the front while they were at it?

Yep. They showed up about a week after I bought mine. I have no idea how they got in there either. Just two big specs.. near the bottom of the screen. It's not as bad as it seems, like it doesn't get in the way of gameplay, but it's really annoying since it shows up really well on dark backgrounds when the backlight is on. =\
