Downhome 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 - Word is that the Mark Henry/Goldberg match came off very bad due to Henry forgetting many spots throughout the course of the bout. I thought it was because Mark was a very bad wrestler and isn't at all over. Oh yeah, it is obviously. Just call me Dan 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 I guess I'm supposed to forget that Goldberg destroyed HBK and pinned him clean in very short order in the Elimination Chamber...and buy HBK as a threat? That's bad logic, considering the one sided match he had against THE ROCK and HHH. Are they no longer threats? HBK had already been in there for the rest of the match, and Goldberg was completely fired up. That was not a one on one bout, it was more of shawn's fatigue allowing Goldberg's adrenaline rush to overtake him easily. Now.... if this proposed shawn/Goldberg match happens and Shawn takes the fall quickly, he's really going to be hurt. Question, though, is, who hasn't? Jericho has twice, but he's still on. shawn could easily be a threat as a heel, and if he beat HHH, there is quite the possibility he can beat Goldberg. the possibility is even greater seeing as they kept Henry strong. why wouldn't they do it for HBK? If Hogan couldn't draw top dollar he would have never gotten away with most of the crap he has. Nobody, including Triple H, will ever touch Hogan in the political aspect of the business. Downhome 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2003 Come on people, if Goldberg/HBK happens on a RAW, I HIGHLY doubt it'll have a finish. They're going to build to it for a few weeks, and they'll book it in hopes for a ratings pop. A pop, might I add, that will more than likely take place. Then durring the match, the main event of a RAW, Kevin Nash will come back to take out Goldberg, HBK will turn heel, and THEN the real feud begins. HBK and Nash work together to just punk out Goldberg, they make him bleed, and as that RAW goes off the air HBK and Nash are doing their pose that they've done for all of the years over a bloody Goldberg, as one of them holds the World Championship in the air. He's about two more political moves from Hogan-like status. How long until he pulls the Dusty ploy of having every single person mention him in their promos?
