dubq 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2004 John Glover is the man. You ever see Scrooged? He's hilarious with Bill Murray in that flick!
DerangedHermit 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2004 I haven't watched the show all year so Clark saving people every episode doesn't bother me so much, yet. But I also read the spoilers, and things get pretty interesting. So stick around. Can you point me to said spoilers? Thanks.. Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2004 Umm....when did Jon Kent become a Whitelighter?
EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2004 But I was most impressed with John Glover's acting ability. God, that last scene with Lex was just so...awesome. The "mother" theme was a good one. Yeah I think John Glover is great to. As far pairs go with scenes my favorites are Clark/Lex, Lex/ Dad, Clark/Dad. And I like how they were hinting at who Clark's greatest villian could be. And Lex talking about how someone would have to go up against someone with all that power. Umm....when did Jon Kent become a Whitelighter? I have a feeling that has something to do with his deal with Jor-El. And judging by the previews for next week it looks like Supergirl is going to be in the picture. Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2004 Well, it wasn't supergirl... at least untill next week.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2004 Wow they finally got Lionel. This should be interesting.
BlackFlagg 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2004 Wondering what next season will be like...no Lana, no Pete<probably a few cameo's> and possibly Lionel in prison....
Guest Brian Report post Posted May 13, 2004 I liked tonight's episode. I liked the Lana stuff. But the Pete story feels completely rushed at this point.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2004 I liked tonight's episode. I liked the Lana stuff. But the Pete story feels completely rushed at this point. Yeah it did seemed rushed and I hate how they just dropped the whole Pete/Chloe thing after one episode. You don't just have him drop the "love" bomb on her and not go with it. Guest JMA Report post Posted May 13, 2004 I really like the way Lex saved Pete. It almost felt like a foreshadowing to when Lex becomes President and Pete becomes his VP (if they choose to go that way). Seeing as how Cassandra had a vision of Lex in the Oval Office in season one--and he was President in the comics--there's a very good chance of that happening. I applauded when Lionel was arrested. That was just a great scene all around. It was satisfying to see The Magnificent Bastard finally get his comeuppance. I'm VERY excited about you-know-who being in the season finale. Guest Brian Report post Posted May 13, 2004 Doesn't Pete have to die? No one can know Clark's secret, right? I mean, they've sort of bounced Pete around this season. Other than knowing the secret, he hasn't really had anything stable going.
EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2004 I liked tonight's episode. I liked the Lana stuff. But the Pete story feels completely rushed at this point. Yeah it did seemed rushed and I hate how they just dropped the whole Pete/Chloe thing after one episode. You don't just have him drop the "love" bomb on her and not go with it. Yeah they really havn't done much with Pete this season. I mean as far as the Smallville High gang the storylines are always about Clark/Chole/Lana with Pete in the background or just there. And anytime he does have something it's always dropped. Let's see Pete was involved in that underground street racing and caused that one gang leader to be killed. Then Clark says that it has seriously effect their friendship and that it will never be the same again but, a few eps later Clark and Pete are the best of friends again like nothing happen and the whole street racing thing isn't talked about again. Then Pete tells Chole that he loves her but, then it's dropped. Then out of the blue his parent brake up and then Pete decides to leave Smallville. Like someone said that and the I love you thing just seemed so rushed. At this point they might as while have Pete leave Smallville or kill him off seeing how the writers don't really seem to know what to do with him and he has nothing really going for him cept for knowing about Clark. Hell they had the same problem with Whitney, Lana's ex-boyfriend.
Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted May 19, 2004 That was an interesting way to start the season finale.
Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2004 Go Clark, you mack daddy you. So, now Lana is in PAris, Pete is elsewhere, Lionell is in Jail, and Calrk and Lex are now good friends, better enemies. What's going to happen next season, I wonder?
Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2004 Damn. Uh, Double Damn. Godbye Chloe, we bareley knew ye. Lex can't die. What's going to happen to Clark now? Tune in next season to find out!

Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2004 You know, as soon as the music started and they were weitching between characters, I immideately said Chloe: Bomb. Lex: Poison But they killed off Chole. What the hell?
Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted May 19, 2004 Holy shit. I didn't see that one coming at all. With everything that happened in tonight's episode, next season is going to be really interesting.
DerangedHermit 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2004 Holy shit. I'm still in shock. However, that Lionel Luthor proved why he is one MAGNIFICENT BASTARD!
Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 That was one fucking great episode...but I must officially say.. I HATE SMALLVILLE~! Not really...but it's the season finale...you don't leave a huge cliffhanger like that :'(. And the Chloe thing definitely was not expected...my jaw literally dropped when the house exploded..because I actually didn't see it coming. As for Lionel..the odd thing was...just earlier in the show I was looking at the guys hair..saying man he has "cool" hair..or it must have taken a long time to grow...and then he gets it cut? . And we don't even know what happened to Johnathan..we have to wait a whole season . But all in all it was a great show to end a great season...only problem now is..I can't wait this fucking long until the next season.
Guest Cultism Mask I Report post Posted May 20, 2004 Chloe : Dead. Pete/Lana : Gone Clark : Who knows where Lex : Possible body switch w/ Lionel? Great finale. The wait for next season is going to be a long one.
Shanghai Kid 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 Their's no way Smallville just got rid of most of it's cast. Chloe will still end up being alive. Lana will come back from Paris. Lex is alright, just ate some bad chicken. Pete..ya he'll probably stay gone.
Guest JMA Report post Posted May 20, 2004 Lex : Possible body switch w/ Lionel? I was thinking the exact same thing. Why else would he shave his head if not for brain surgery? Lex was probably slipped a seditive, not poison.
BlackFlagg 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 Lex needs to quit drinking...he just keeps getting drugged, heh
Guest Brian Report post Posted May 20, 2004 Why did they kill off Chloe? She was developing the most out of any of the characters. It just felt like shock TV. The rest was good. I still have gripes with how they've handled Pete's characters; and they're eventually going to have to kill him off.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 So what new powers will Clark have next season now that he's being "Reborn"?? Flying maybe?
Jebus 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 The rest was good. I still have gripes with how they've handled Pete's characters; and they're eventually going to have to kill him off. Not if they want to stick to the actual futures of the characters since Pete becomes Vice President I believe...
Guest Brian Report post Posted May 20, 2004 Well, I assume nobody is going to eventually know about his secret. Which is why they shouldn't have told him. They were obviously doing it to give his chracter some depth.
Molotov The Bear 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 And the Chloe thing definitely was not expected...my jaw literally dropped when the house exploded..because I actually didn't see it coming. Same here. That was definitly a huge "Holy shit" moment. I dont think Chloe's dead though. She'll survive somehow. Lex cant be dead either, not ater they finally destroyed Clark and Lex's friendship and set the stage for the eventual fued. That ending was awesome. I cant really say anything else, as I'm still in awe of that and Angel's finale.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 I'm not sure how Chloe would have survived seeing as the minute she walked in the door the house blew up and it looked like the explosion started in the doorway. All in all this was the best Smallville episode ever, but it was overshadowed by the Angel finale afterwards in my mind. It was hard for me to dwell on how great the Smallville episode was while watching the end of one of my favorite TV shows.
