Guest EQ Report post Posted February 18, 2004 X-Files is awesome. I used to watch it back when it was on and now I've been watching the first season on DVD. The season sets are too damn expensive though! Personally I'm waiting for Carter's Millennium to be released on DVD.. I heard rumblings of it back in September, but nothing since then. What's Carter's Millennium?

What's Carter's Millennium? Chris Carter. Creator of the X-Files. Made a show on Fox called Millennium. It got cancelled and moved to Sci-Fi I believe, but I never got that channel... it starred Lance Henriksen as Frank Black, a detective with sort-of psychic abilities. Lots of murder, disturbing images, some gore, etc. Good stuff.
Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2004 Smallville seems to like the cliffhanger season finales. At least it's almost a guarantee that a show is coming back for a new season when the season finale is a cliffhanger. Unless your Farscape
Guest EQ Report post Posted February 18, 2004 LOL! Actually, Lois & Clark pulled the same thing. There was a huge cliffhanger at the end of the 4th season and we never got a 5th >

Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted February 19, 2004 Swimfan girl was HOT! (What was her name again?) Character name- Alicia Real name- Sarah Carter I may have missed something, but I'm kinda disappointed that they didn't reveal what happened to Alicia. Did they send her to the ha-ha room or something? Good episode tonight. I laughed my ASS OFF when Jonathan caught Clark with that girl Yeah, that was pretty funny. I kinda felt bad for Clark. That may actually have worked out, since Alicia wasn't a normal chick.

Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2004 Pretty good show tonight. However I was really disappointed that they turned Alicia into a psycho, I really liked her(before she went nuts) and wished she would have stuck around for a few more episodes. Guest JMA Report post Posted February 19, 2004 I'm getting sick of people constantly trying to kill Lana. That and Clark and Lana having a "special moment" at the end of each episode. They really need to change the formula. I am enjoying the Adam Knight storyline, though.
Guest EQ Report post Posted February 19, 2004 It's not like we didn't know Alicia was going to turn psycho though. What I liked about tonight's episode was that in the preview last week, we knew that tihs girl was going to go psycho on Clark, but her having those PHAT Nightcrawler powers was just a big surprise (I liked the special effect a lot, too). I agree that people trying to kill Lana is getting old. I'm actually starting to care less and less about Lana this season. Probably cause Clark and Lana have tried to keep away from each other for the most part in the past couple of months, and as a result, the viewer gets detatched from her. Adam's storyline is cool, I want to see where they go with it.
Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 It will be interesting to see how they do bring Bruce Wayne into the show. The producers said that they're putting him in a season 3 episode. Sorry it looks like no Bruce Wayne on Smallville I read this a few weeks ago. It's part of an interview with executive producer Al Gough concerning whether characters like Wonder Woman and Batman may show up in Smallville "Perry may pop up again by the end of the season to be quite honest, but we're just breaking down the episodes now and Michael McKean just signed on to do Hairspray in New York, so we'll have to see," began Gough. "We had planned on having Bruce Wayne make an appearance, but can't because of the upcoming Chris Nolan movie. There's more of a possibility of Diana showing up in Smallville than Bruce Wayne. I'd like to see an episode or two with her if we could find the right story and actress."
Guest EQ Report post Posted February 20, 2004 FUCK WONDER WOMAN! They'd just job Clark out to her like they do on Justice League! Oh who am I kidding, I'd mark out for that. Plus they'd probably cast someone really hot to play the part.
Guest Miss Indy Queen Report post Posted February 20, 2004 I didn't get a chance to watch Smallville last night, so can someone recap the episode? Also what's the preview for next week?
Guest JMA Report post Posted February 20, 2004 Lana is going to need intense therapy before she reaches her twenties if people keep trying to kill her. If I was her I would never even leave the house.
Guest EQ Report post Posted February 20, 2004 Basically, Clark ends up in an elevator with this really hot girl. Of course, the cable on the elevator snaps, and to save her life, Clark is forced to use his powers in front of her (to stop the elevator from crashing). He stops the elevator and he's now worried that not only has she seen him use his powers, but everyone outside the elevator will see what he did (he punched through the elevator and grabbed onto some metal to stop it.) The girl grabs him and does some PHAT Nightcrawler shit and they teleport out of the elevator. The next day, Clark gets to talking to this girl. He feels that he can relate to her in a way that he never could with Lana (cause this girl has powers too). So they end up going on a date... Clark goes to kiss her when he brings her home, but CHOKES! FUCK! So the next scene, it cuts to Clark sleeping in his bed. All of the sudden, she teleports into his room and she's ready to FUCK! They start to get it on right when Jonathan comes in the room and cockblocks my man. She leaves and Clark is talking to his parents downstairs. What they don't know is that this girl teleported downstairs (into a closet or something) and is eavesdropping on the conversation. She learns that Clark is vulnerable to meteor rocks (had the Kents uses the word "Kryptonite", she wouldn't have known what the fuck they were talking about) but doesn't do anything with this information. The next day at school, Clark finds his locker full of pictures of her. He's getting a little freaked out and tells her that maybe they are moving too fast. As the episode progresses, we find out that Adam has been keeping notes on Lana and Clark. Lana asks Lex to help her get him evicted from the apartment above the Talon. The episode goes on and this girl is starting to act more and more like a stalker. Clark goes to her house and talks to her parents about it. He said that he knows what she can do and asks how they used to keep her contained (she'd mentioned earlier that they used to prevent her from using her power). He discovered that if she's in a lead-lined room... she can't use her power. Angry with her parents for telling Clark her weakness, she tries to kill her father. When Clark finds this out, he asks Chloe for help to lure her to a warehouse or some place like that where he's painted a room with lead paint. They get her in the room and she realizes she's been double crossed. She pulls out some kryptonite and Clark falls to the floor and she just walks out the room... on her way to kill Lana (cause of course she wants to kill Lana... who doesn't?). Eventually Clark kicks the can of lead paint on top of the Kryptonite and Super-Speeds to the Talon where he saves Lana just in time. It was phat how he stopped her. He threw a can of lead paint at the bitch... uses heat vision to explode the can right before it hits her, covering her in the paint so she can't teleport. That was pretty much the bulk of the episode. At the very end, we see that Adam's gone... it cuts to him tied up in a chair and Lionel is talking to him. Lionel says that he failed in his mission (which was to get close to Lana and gather info on Clark). He tells Dr. Teng not to give Adam his medicine and leaves Adam for dead... or so we think. I forget what the preview for next week was, but it looked nasty. You basically missed a filler episode, so it's not so bad.

Guest EQ Report post Posted February 20, 2004 I think I cared more about Clark's relationship with Alicia than his relationship with Lana. Same here! I mean, shit... if Alicia wasn't a crazy bitch then she would have basically been perfect for Clark. Not to mention the fact that if they'd drawn out her storyline more, she would have been on my TV longer (damn, she was fine). ...But shit, I wish Clark had gotten to hit that just once

EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 Well this is alittle late. I liked last weeks ep and thought Alicia was HOT and I to was shocked about her powers and like others have I cared more about Clarks relationship with Alicia than his relationship with Lana. I was laughing when dad caught Clark and Alicia and was half waiting for Clark to yell at dad to get the hell out. The really bad thing about the ep was during the start when Alicia was so nice and sweet and her and Clark were into each other you know that Alicia was going to turn nuts by the end of the ep and I didn't like how that happened. I wish Alicia hadn't turn nuts cause she would have made a great girl for Clark and moved on from the whole Lana thing. THe thing I hate about the show is that when they give Clark a relationship they end it quickly. Like at the end of the first season when they had Clark and Chole go out, they could have been good to have them dating during the 2nd season but, instead they ended that after about 2 eps. Then at the end of the 2nd season they have Clark and Lana get together but, Clark breaks it off after a few eps because he wants to protect from harm which I thought was dumb. Because, Lana is still getting attacked by whack jobs with powers so that was dumb reason to break up for. At least if Clark was dating her he could be closer to protect her. Guest EQ Report post Posted February 25, 2004 At least if Clark was dating her he could be closer to protect her. Not to mention he'd be HITTIN IT every night! Heh, I agree with you though. Having Clark break up with Lana for such a stupid reason bothered me too. Like I said with Alicia, it would have been cool if she stayed "normal" for a few episodes and then went crazy down the road. Speaking of which is there anyone in Smallville that gets power and DOESN'T become a nutjob. The only I can think of is that Ryan kid that could read minds and that's it. For once it would be cool to see a teen get powers and doesn't bad and still leads a normal live. Or better yet a teen gets powers and decides to become a super hero. You know he makes himself as costume and masks and goes around Smallville stopping crimes and whatever like Clark will do someday. That would be interesting to see. Guest Brian Report post Posted February 25, 2004 I liked that with the episode though. What really makes Clark different. Lately they've done a better job of building Clark's character, ever since he went heel really.

You know, that would actually be a really awesome storyline. I don't see that lasting for very many episodes (probably only one episode) but I think it would be cool. As far as kids getting powers that didn't go crazy, I don't really know of any besides that Ryan kid who died. The only other person I can really remember right now that had powers and wasn't crazy was the guy who could make people do whatever he wanted with a touch. If you remember that episode, there were two people with that power and one was evil, but the other guy was a hermit who lived in the woods because he didn't want to misuse his power.
