There was a ppv called Fully Loaded that featured a triple main event with an established main eventer against a guy on the cusp of being a top guy.

 

HHH vs. Jericho

Rock vs. Benoit

Taker vs. Angle

 

The old guard won all three...

The main problem with that scenario is that one of them would have to actually WIN the world title for it to work.

 

Anyone can get a shot at the title...

 

Hell...Paul London got a shot and he's just a no name jobber with no offense who isn't over.

I'm not saying that's how they should book. I'm just saying that they made Show look credible in less than 2 monthes. They can make Spanky look credible in two years. It's not impossible, as people think, for some odd reason, it is.

Hey, Michael Shane owes his X Division title to being the cousin of Shawn Michaels. If Spanky promoted that he was trained by Shawn himself, he could be Euro title material right now.

The irony of everyone else from the Texas Wrestling Academy using that to get bookings around the indys...having it be a whole movement in RoH AND his cousin using THAT as his character in TNA just hit me.

Rock and HHH are MUCH bigger than Spanky and Matt Hardy.

 

Rock was pushed from the MINUTE he arrived in the company despite not being over (hey...just like Brock was). I don't recall Spanky or Hardy getting that.

I'm sorry I'm not a Matt Hardy fanboy but he's really nothing special other than having a cool gimmick.

And yet you have *Kane* on your list.

Because Kane is being used. When was the last time Matt Hardy had a legitimate pay-per-view match? Backlash?

 

I never said Kane was any better than Matt Hardy, that's ludicrous. But Kane is given failed push after failed push yet the fans still seem to care. Without Jeff, Matt is doomed to matches with no heat, saved only by a comedy gimmick that appeases the smarks (something that apparently is very tough to accomplish).

 

The idea of this post was to decide the best 10 workers to build your company around. If you're a clueless mark, are you going to be buying a Kane t-shirt or a Matt Hardy t-shirt? Would you like to see a 3-legged debacle between Matt Hardy and Zach Gowen or a bumpfest between Kane and Shane McMahon? No, I'm not asking for your biased smark opinion. If you're that fat hoosier in the Brock Lesnar t-shirt, what would YOU want to see?

So, it's a good idea to build around Kane when every push has failed, but not Hardy who hasn't been given a chance but has a lot of potential? The fans care for Rikishi, so why not put him on the list?

 

And Hardy gets not heat? I guess I imagined all the fans flashing "V1" hand signs, as well as the heel *and* face reactions he's received. Or the big rating his ME Smackdown match w/ Rey pulled.

 

Bottom line is, they've gotten pretty much everything they can get out of Kane. With Matt Hardy, there's a lot more potential that has been left untapped.
