bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2003 Okay- Last week in Toronto they did a screening of Wrestling with Shadows and there was supposed to be a Q-n-A with Paul Jay, the director. For whatever reason he didn't show but I ended up talking to the woman who ran the screening and since she knew I was a wrestling fan- She said she would contact the guy, give him my email so I could ask him questions about the film. It is just common backstage for wrestlers to be called by nicknames, unless their nickname is something like Doink or Repo Man. Even after last night's Red Sox- Yankees game, Derek Jeter was doing an interview and said "Boomer got the job done for us" when talking about David Wells.
