Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Looks like i'll becoming in at around about 100 VGM's. No huge totals from any player, but everyone scoring from 15-25 VGM's gives me a nice total to get back on track after scoring 39 VGM's in 3 days. If only Duncan would have taken more than 9 shots all game.
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 My VGM team fell off the planet as well today. Shaq was the only guy to really give me anything. Peja and Rip shot like shit, Duncan didn't shoot enough, and Arroyo didn't play like a fucker. I was fifth today in the group and can easily see myself around 7-10 place after tonight's stinker. Here is my obvious lineup for tommorrow... PG Gary Payton SG Kobe Bryant SF Calbert Cheaney PF Karl Malone C Shaquille O' Neal Cch Phil Jackson Just about everyone is going to have this lineup or better, so I'm not tripping about tommorrow. It's the rest of the week I'm looking forward to.
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 The only real difference in everyone's team tomorrow will be if they have Cheaney, Dunleavy or George at SF. Hopefully Dunleavy goes as good tomorrow as he did today, i need every point i can get. My score today led to me going up to 37.1% worldwide, jumping my rank up 7320 places. It'll take me a long time to get back to a respectable position, but thankfully it's a long season. My November 3 team: PG- Baron Davis SG- Tracy McGrady SF- Kevin Garnett PF- Rasheed Wallace C- Tyson Chandler Coach- Doc Rivers

Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2003 Up into the 70% range, though now's where it'll get harder to keep moving up at the pace i have been. Here's hoping for a few strong days, where my players actually play, and when they do they don't get ejected. November 6 team: PG- Gary Payton SG- Reggie Miller SF- Dirk Nowitzki PF- Karl Malone C- Jermaine O'Neal Coach- Kevin O'Neill And my team for the 5th: PG- Stephon Marbury SG- Jason Terry SP- Dirk Nowitzki PF- Rasheed Wallace C- Zydrunas Ilgauskas Coach- Don Nelson
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2003 I could end up regretting this lineup, but here's my 11-6: PG: Gary Payton SG: Kobe Bryant SF: Dirk Nowitzki PF: Jeff Foster C: Jermaine O'Neal Coach: Don Nelson Bowen usually does a good job on Kobe, but he should still get better numbers than Kerry Kittles, my oiginal pick, who always seems to play balls out against the Pacers. And with Duncan out, Shaq is pretty sure to be dominant, as well, especially with the extra motivation in that it is the Spurs they're playing. But with K-Mart's status unknown, I think I can safely predict a big night from Jermaine as well. Foster got the nod over Scot Pollard at center last night, and with the way he's been playing, it will probably stay that way for a while. He was second in the league in rebounds per 48 minutes last year, and had 13 last night against Denver.

PG: Mike Bibby(Downgraded from Steve Nash) SG: Allen Iverson SF: Paul Pierce PF: Rasheed Wallace C: Ben Wallace Coach: Paul Silas Total = 99.5 Right now, I would say picking any Blazer other than Zach Randolph is taking a chance. Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2003 Whenever i don't pick a certain player they consistently put up good VGM's, but as soon as i choose them they decide to put in the most god-awful shooting performances possible. The last few days i've had at least one, if not more players wreck perfectly good stats with abysmal shooting.
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2003 Team for the 7th, though i'm tempted to remove one or two of the big name players for lessar name players who have matchups that could result in some big games. It would be a risk, but right now a few risks could help me out alot. PG- Mike Bibby SG- Allen Iverson SF- Paul Pierce PF- Amare Stoudamire C- Jermaine O'Neal Coach- Rick Adelman

Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2003 (edited) 101 points today, not too shabby, though unfortunately i had set the exact best team for the day of Payton, Ginobili, Jefferson, Malone, Shaq and O'Neill, before making a few changes. Serves me right for not trusting my initial instincts. Team for whatever day is next: PG- Baron Davis SG- Gilbert Arenas (still tossing up between Arenas and Michael Redd) SF- Kevin Garnett PF- Carlos Boozer C- Yao Ming Coach- Maurice Cheeks Edited November 7, 2003 by Cuban_Linx

Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2003 God bless Allen Iverson. 33 points, 11 assists, 8 steals, 52% shooting, 11/12 FT's for 42 VGM's and there's still time left, he's leading me to my best day to date. 111 VGM's, and i still have Amare Stoudamire playing in the 3rd quarter.
