LaParkaMarka Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 Total f'king ownage That's your NFL play of the week right there That MIGHT be the play of the year. It's at the very least up there with the Hall TD return against the Broncos. That play was amazing. I am so glad that wasn't called back on some garbage technicality. So, Randy Moss: easily the best WR in the league? Is Harrison better?
Slayer Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 Total f'king ownage That's your NFL play of the week right there That MIGHT be the play of the year. Well, the season (and even the week), is yet young, so I wanted to avoid hyperbole It still ruled

Guest Choken One Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 what was the play? Was it better then Jurevicious play on MNF?
ANKLELOCK Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 Screw the Chiefs. Vikings vs. Titans in the Super Bowl. McNair vs. Moss. That would rule.
Guest Choken One Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 I saw it...He pitched the ball away as he was hit... Jurevicous slap shot catch was prettier and more unusual.

Guest Flyboy Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 Was it better then Jurevicious play on MNF? To answer your question, yes.
Guest Choken One Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 Was it better then Jurevicious play on MNF? To answer your question, yes. How? Moss caught the ball and got hit and he pitched the ball... Jurevicous went up high in the air and slapped the ball upwards knowing he'd land right on it as he landed...more visually impressive and physically impressive.

The Jurevicous play was great, yes, but it didn't stand out like Moss'. Moss had ONE SECOND left and he had the knowledge to pitch the ball. That play > Jurevicous'.
Guest Choken One Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 OK the timing is somewhat impressive but I don't think that factored into his playmaking decision...i THINK he just pitched the ball to make a play...
ANKLELOCK Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 Wow. The Titans have held Stephen Davis to 16 yards. Haha. Panters getting booed out of the stadium. If you can't tell, im a Titan mark.

I actually think that the pitch might have been designed. Moe Williams running downfield right behind Randy Moss on a long pass play is very suspicious for just a "spur of the moment" play where Moss is praised for his intelligence. Jurevicius' play was total athleticism and effort. I give the nod to the Jurevicius play. Jason
ANKLELOCK Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 Personal foul on Stephen Davis. Pushed Big Albert after the play.

Eh, it WAS a hailmary so if Moe Williams was covered on his initial route, it wouldn't be out of the question for him to go down the field to try and make a play. And, like a said, "To each their own".
razazteca Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 Cowboys are running the score up on the Lions. 35-7 with about 4 minutes left in the 3rd Quarter. Hambrick ran the ball in from around the 5 yardline.
