Guest Goodear Report post Posted October 22, 2003 Sorry I haven't been making a whole lot of comments lately but I've been working on so many writing projects lately to get into shape for The November Novel Run of Death that its put a damper on these reactionary things. Anyway, on with the predictions! United States Title Ejiro Fasaki© vs Johnny Dangerous I'm not only going to beat Johnny, I'm going to rip off his ear and sew Mercury's in its place! NONE SHALL PASS! Handicap Match The Boston Strangler vs Sinquizition Around here tag teams actually have a history of winning these handicapped matches so I'm tossing out the usual rules. Strangler is way strong although I don't think he'll write himself to win with the Erek Taylor storyline running. But by the same token I don't think his match willbe chosen anyway as Quiz excells at the double teaming while John just plain excells. Go tag teamers GO! Steel Chair Challange Va'aiga vs CIA Drew is running right into the freight train that is the pissed off Va'aiga. You just know that both men are going to get good and plastered in this match but I can't see CIA pulling the upset here. ICTV Title Match Andrew Blackwell© vs Xstasy Both guys are sort of flying under my radar since I'm not paying as much attention to them as I should. I think X has been undefeated since his return though and that puts him a little bit over Blackwell here. MAIN EVENT Cage Match, Non-Title Michael Craven vs "The Superior One" Tom Flesher I think the cage match works in Craven's favor since Tom favors more strait style wrestling than this sort of stipulation. Still I think Flesher has too much here for Craven who could probably benefit by starting another feud with someone in the midcard. Unfortunately there aren't really any people IN the midcard at the moment. There is also nobody stepping up to battle Tom which is sort of sad. I dunno, I just get the feeling we have a bunch of mini-fiefdoms where people own their divisions (Wildchild in Hardcore, J & R in Tags, Tom at heavyweight) but the depth has taken a severe hit as people go away for some reason or another =-( Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
the.weej 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2003 Just to add on to what Ejiro's said, that really shouldn't be. In regards to Tom, anyway, since a big chunk of the roster right now are main eventers or very high upper midcarders. Granted, you can never have too many established people, but I honestly found this show difficult to book because the SWF has practically no undercard right now. We have a good amount of people as upper midcarders (Sacred, X, Craven, probably Fasaki), but that's only 3 or 4.
