Just call me Dan 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 FUCK!!! I just realized I was watching the baseball game and I missed holly's promo. something about this little feud he'll have with Brock intrigues me. I hate the guy, but on the stick, he's comedic gold. Shit.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 Damn, that top rope Choke Slam to Show looked SOOO much better than I thought it would. That was a chokeslam? Looked like he just pulled him off the top and put his hand near his neck real quick to try and make it look like a chokeslam.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 Shouldn't Heyman have just come out and pointed out the fact that Big Show wasn't the legal man?

LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 Time for a haircut, Mark. I think he's growing it back out so he can do the Deadman gimmick again.......I'm serious......don't you believe me?

I just realized I was watching the baseball game and I missed holly's promo. something about this little feud he'll have with Brock intrigues me. I hate the guy, but on the stick, he's comedic gold. Shit. Don't worry. It was shorter than I expected, and REALLY generic. Basically all he said was "You didn't end my career so I'm coming back to end yours" ending with a closeup of his face that lasted about 10 seconds, which I thought was weird. Just call me Dan 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 Man, eveyone would have looked 10x better if that would have just ended with the 1st fall.

No, I think he's pulling a Paul Wight and being lazy as fuck. I am near positive there are staff that ensure the performers are properlygroomed and trimmed for TV performances. All they have to do is say "Hey, cut my hair 5 minutes before I go out there!". Instead, they lumber around in that middle stage for a month and THEN cut it. WHY? LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 Did Tazz just say that Big Show will smash a windshield with his bare hand??? No that's Goldberg!
Just call me Dan 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 I think he was referring to Show's beatdown of Eddie before NM where he smashed the glass in with his hand.

Papacita 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 OK show, but they could've handled the ME and that last segment much better.
Silence 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 Scotty 2 Hotty, Rikishi, The Bashams as the new Tag Team Champions, Hardcore Holly, Big Show, Vince, and The Undertaker all killed the show for me.
Just John 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2003 At least it was unpredictable. I didn't see the Bashams win or the Benoit/Angle split coming at all. Scotty would have surprised me as well, had Heyman not said "team." I thought for sure we were doomed to watch Shelton lay down to the fameasser. The ME should have been kept to one fall and thrown in another match in it's place. I like the Japanese Mafia. Hopefully they fair better than that Italian one. We may not have seen Shelton lay down for the Fameasser, but we sure as hell saw him lay down for The Worm and the Ass Drop or whatever the hell Rikishi's sit-down move is called. Depending on who you ask, he's either on vacation or in jail. You decide which you wanna believe.

It was almost just as bad, but think of it this way: Would you rather have Rikishi back who just stays low on the card and always jobs to put over whoever the next push goes to... or Billy Gunn who always gets pushed as midcard threat (often accompanied with a title run) and goes over all up-and-comers despite getting no reaction at all?
