Fökai Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Bret sounds in good/great shape, based on what's happened over the last year. Thank goodness for that.
Styles Posted October 27, 2003 Author Report Posted October 27, 2003 Yeah it's awesome to hear he's recovering so rapidly but it's odd to hear him ramble on slowly about the old days like an old timer....
Styles Posted October 27, 2003 Author Report Posted October 27, 2003 Will Bret be at Wrestlemania? Find out after the break!
cbacon Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 And the big WrestleMania question.....after the break....you can bet on wrestling now?
cbacon Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Understandable Bret thinks that he might be able to handle a speech emotionally, then again March 14 is still long away. As for the different audience not taking to him, all he has to do is watch RAW X
Invictus Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Damn these breaks! You get 3 minutes of content and 7 minutes of commercials every 10 minutes!

Fökai Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Bret calls Flair the "best conditioned of ANY worker he's ever worked with...including Shawn". That's awesome.
Downhome Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 A few nice words there for Ric Flair, cool.
Styles Posted October 27, 2003 Author Report Posted October 27, 2003 I can't wait for the books, but you got to feel for Bret having to relive all these horrible memories of the past few years...
Guest drdrainoscott Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 I want that book. I want that book bad.
Downhome Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Bret calls Flair the "best conditioned of ANY worker he's ever worked with...including Shawn". That's awesome. Well that's not really opinion, it's quite possibly fact. I hear that Bret doesn't think much of Flair as a worker though.
Fökai Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Meltzer notes that Bret contributed material to the Stu Hart biography in this week's Observer.
Jobber of the Week Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 I can't wait for the books, but you got to feel for Bret having to relive all these horrible memories of the past few years... Bret Hart DID have a life before Owen died, ya know.
Styles Posted October 27, 2003 Author Report Posted October 27, 2003 I can't wait for the books, but you got to feel for Bret having to relive all these horrible memories of the past few years... Bret Hart DID have a life before Owen died, ya know. If you were listening to the show, you would recall Bret contemplating about how he's at the part where he has to write about his WCW career, and Owen and the stroke and how it's really hard for him to write about and emotional.
tpww7 Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Bret thinks that some janitor in Atlanta was running WCW.
Fökai Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Great call-in question, about the tight scripting of promos nowadays.
Fökai Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Bret actually remembered the location of a promo (Rockford, Illinois) and his opponent from that night (Rock) from a RAW show SIX YEARS AGO.
Styles Posted October 27, 2003 Author Report Posted October 27, 2003 Bret actually remembered the location of a promo (Rockford, Illinois) and his opponent from that night (Rock) from a RAW show SIX YEARS AGO. Strokes effect different areas depending on what part of the brain is effected. So stroke victims could have their short term memory imparied but have their long term remain intact. I'm sure someone with actual medical knowledge could expand.
Guest drdrainoscott Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Someone needs to call in and ask about the DVD. There needs to be one made immediatly.
Guest TheGame2705 Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 I did too. Power went out in my region because of snow for a little.
