Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 I think that's the idea. I was yelling at the screen trying to tell Palmer not to do it, but of course, he did it and the other candidate is probably "in" with Anne's ex-husband. It's a ploy to get him to payoff the guy and start a scandal.
Guest Skironox Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 What did that doctor lady say to Jack about Teri when she first got in the car? I hope this isn't the start of a new romantic interest storyline. Looks like Tony's out for at least the rest of the season. If the show is going to kill the main characters off this season they need to give the new characters a bigger push. So far Chase comes off as a generic boy wonder for me (Better than the Raiden fears I was getting due to the previews), this show is all about flawed main characters.
the max Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 What did that doctor lady say to Jack about Teri when she first got in the car? I hope this isn't the start of a new romantic interest storyline. She said that she tried to get in touch with Jack after Teri got killed. Nobody's going to get romantically involved with him this year.
Guest drdrainoscott Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Its that time of night again, so I thought I would give this thread its rightful bump.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Nothing like a good ol fashioned prison riot. I dont think Jack planned on getting taken hostage by the prisoners...
BlackFlagg Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Good episode, looks like Jack's plan wasn't quite as good as he thought though...should be bery interesting...
Guest drdrainoscott Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Its gonna be really interesting to see how he gets out of this jam, as once he frees himself from the prisoners, no one is gonna trust him. It's gonna be Jack against the world, just like we saw in Season One again.
El Gigante Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 If anyone can get out of this mess, its Jack Bauer.
the pinjockey Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 My guess is that Chase does your typical "I trade myself for the hostages deal". At least he better after his puss effort tonight. "Whatever Jack said he's lying", Chase cried. Puss.
Mole Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Fuck no, Chase is a fuckin bad ass. EDIT: 5000 Post!!!
Guest Skironox Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Episode was just kind of there except for the last 10 minutes, where I was promptly on the edge of my seat the whole time. Jack is at his best when he's the lone wolf. I am pumped for next week. But man, these previews are like crack. I keep trying to stay away from them, but at the end of every hour I give in and feel dirty afterwards. Oh well.
BlackFlagg Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Just over an hour to go till we find out how Jack gets himself out of this one
El Gigante Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Jack will get out of it in the most insane way possible. That's the only way Jack knows how to do things.
DMann2003 Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Jack Bauer plays The Deer Hunter game...
teke184 Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Man... I knew that particular part was coming when there was a HUGE "Parental Warning - Violence" screen before the show resumed.
the max Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Great episode. Russian Roulette, gunfights, legitimize Chase as not just a lackey, start setting the stage for Bauer's dismissal and/or death, set up Palmer... GREAT writing too. "It'll be Jack v. Ramon"!
Guest drdrainoscott Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 It seems as if Chase is a little too forgiving for someone that tried to kill him only hours ago don't you think?
El Gigante Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Another great episode. I'm starting to take a liking for Chase and seeing him as more than just Jack's partner and he could be ligit.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Senator Keeler is the father from Unhappily Ever After (I dont remember the name and didnt recognize the name in the credits, but its him) It was a decent episode. I didnt get any parental violence warnings off the wild feed that I watched.
LaParkaYourCar Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 I guess the warnings were for the Russian Roulette scenes.
the max Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Probably for the first guard eating one too.
BlackFlagg Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Another great episode, loving this season thus far.....doing a great job evolving Chase. Anyone else annoyed by Chloe on a weekly basis? Anything interesting in the preview for the next episode, I missed it.
the max Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Next Week: Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Jack's helicopter needs to be shot down, since they want Salazar as a bargaining chip to deal with his brother. But, they need one person's consent to shoot the chopper down; David Palmer
El Gigante Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Next week should be a good one, I can't wait to see what goes down. And yes, Chloe is the most annoying person this show has ever had.
Mole Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 I had to record 24 this week because of my long drive home from school, so I'll have to wait till Saturday till my sister brings it to me. On another note, 24 got a 6.3 up from the 5.6 from last week.
Max Danger Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 'Cause of the American Idol show leading into it. 24 had really high ratings last year when following AI.
Mole Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 That's weird because they seem like completly different audiences.
Toshiaki Koala Posted November 28, 2003 Report Posted November 28, 2003 Any fans of 24 (in particular, season one) should go here. It's not what you expect, I promise.
Guest drdrainoscott Posted November 28, 2003 Report Posted November 28, 2003 I am at a loss for words. Who in their right mind would spend the time to do that? Mossy, they are and yellow With some splotches of green and brown When the wind blows through them it makes a whistling noise There are gaps between them, too, that are wide Insanity...
BlackFlagg Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Figured it was time to get this back up, just over 30 minutes until we see Jack in another jam
