A look into the psychological dynamics of the mandible -clawing nice day-having Mankind.

This is a phenomenon my friends and I discovered in 1996-1997, and I'm now bringing this up after all these years because it has recently occured.

When we were little, we would have Royal Rumbles and Kings of The Ring, and all those matches. We would even go so far as to write things out. We were prepared.

But one thing that stood out for the three of us was that as we were writing names of our favorite WWF Superstars, one would always seem to get misspelled every single time. Whenever we wanted to write "Mankind," it would invariably come out as "Manking."

What could this mean? Is this subliminal? Do we all believe that man is king? Is it doubt that man is kind? Do we really really really like Mick Foley? What gives?

Seriously, try this sometime. If you're not consciously thinking "I WILL WRITE THE WORD MANKIND ON THIS PAPER," I think you very well could write Manking.

I didn't do this by accident, but I would try to make as many mocking names of wrestlers that I didn't like back in the day

Some of them were creative (I'd refer to The Renegade as "The Penultimate Warrior") and others, well, weren't (Bret "Shitman" Fart)
