Edwin MacPhisto Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 So I write for a magazine back in my hometown, and because of some business involving a film festival, I've got the opportunity to talk to Joe Bob Briggs about a few movies and just ask him some general questions about film, his career, and his wacky life. I'm interviewing him tomorrow at 1 PM eastern. So, if there's ever been anything you desperately wanted to ask the high priest of the B-Movie and you think I might be able to work it in, now's your chance. Zing!
MrRant Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 Bastard. Ask him if he really enjoys having to watch the movies.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 I used to love TNT's Monstervision. I loved how he made fun of TNT's editing and basically told you what happened that was edited.
razazteca Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 Ask him about his show that was on TNT and about his role in Casino.
Corey_Lazarus Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 Ask him which was better: Zombie Chronicles or Redneck Zombies. And then watch is face cringe when both movies are mentioned.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 I used to love TNT's Monstervision. I loved how he made fun of TNT's editing and basically told you what happened that was edited. Oh that was a Saturday night tradition -- at least when I remembered it was on. Best show was Howling: New Moon Rising (or something of the sort). What's he doing nowadays?...
Downhome Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 Ask him if he has any other DVDs of films lined up for him to do a commentary for. I know he is going to start doing a few, but I'd like to know which ones he knows for sure yet.
Downhome Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 Also, ask him what he truly thinks of Buba Ho-Tep, as I'm sure he's see the film.
WrestlingDeacon Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 Ask him if he has any more books coming out and if the response to "Iron Joe Bob" was good enough for him to do more books in that vain that aren't film related. Ask what he thinks of Kinky Friedman. See why MonsterVision was canceled. Ask him about the time Roddy Piper was on the show. Ask him if he would go back to hosting a show if the offer turned up and would he prefer high end cable like his first show on The Movie Channel that would allow him to show unedited films with more boobs. Good lord do I love Joe Bob Briggs. Edwin, you rule more now that ever before. Give him my undying love and tell him to read my column on 411. TELL HIM! MAKE HIM! FORCE HIM! Ask him if he really like Old Mil or does he drink good beer when not on t.v.
