I don't think he said "fuck that" and dropped Holly, i think he was trying to pick him up, Holly was fighting him and just fucked it up. He wasn't as experienced at the time.

Is it me, or is Jones actually the Austrailian Zeus/Z-Gangsta?

The Natural Disasters team reminds me of the Dungeon:

Paul E.: Kevin Sullivan

Brock: Meng

Big Show: Loch Ness

A-Train: The Shark

Jones: Z-Gangsta

Morgan: The Yeti or The Final Solution

Think about it for a minute.

Big Show is more of a Kamala methinks. The rest is perfect though.

I think Brock did say "fuck that" and dropped him. That guy is a freak of nature. You ever see the way he picks guys like Angle up right off their back from the mat and up to his shoulders for slams? It's scary how strong Lesnar is.

Holly was being a fuckhead and got dropped on his head for it.

So can anyone here actually name what was wrong with Jones last night? Or is it still cool to hate him just because?

He looked fine to me last night, probably the biggest improvement I've seen in someone ever over such a short amount of time. Good to see the time in OVW paid off.

Other than the fact that he was limited to very basic moves and still did them poorly? The fact that it looked like shit when he pushed Angle to into the corner and then almost landed on his head when he flipped over the ropes?

"But at least he flipped over the ropes!" I got nothing.

I would like to know what's the definition of "fine" in this case. I guess since he didn't kill anyone then he was fine. Everyone was fine last night! Yay!

Anyway, I noticed that that match was the most basically-laid out match I've seen in a 10+ min. TV match in awhile. And still Jones did the least amount of work. But hey, he's a monster since he can do a bodyslam!!!

This doesn't bode well for the Survivor Series match.

P.S. The Holly/Lesnar incident took place on the September 12th, 2002 Smackdown.

Duh . . . Hardcore Holly vs Five HUGE guys . . . their stopping him from shooting like a twat the only why they can, pitting him against guys who can and will kill him, or maim him if they try (or don't, in the case of Aussie Jones, who I'll cheer for regardless of any vast powers of suckitude)

Holly was in the wrong for what happened to his neck.......If he wanted to be a dick and be stiff, and sandbag Lesnar then the guy got what he had coming to him.

I guarantee next time he'll think twice before being a dick.

Nah. When Holly returns at Servivor Series and no one pops for his "big" return he'll try to take it out on Lesnar only to get dropped on his big dumb head again.

and I'll laugh again.

I've heard that Holly is the guy they send out to test the new guys, and see how they handle a non-cooperative opponent.

That may also be part of the reason why Holly pounded that Tough Enough kid.

Hmmm that reminds of the story that used to be that when a female porn star would enter the business they'd first have her do a scene with Ron Jeremy because if they could handle having sex with the hedgehog they could handle anything.
