Anyone else have this problem with Raw 2?

So I did 2 years in Season mode, and I finally won the WWE title with my created guy over Eddie G. at Wrestlemania.

 

So what happens when I go to start my third year? TRISH STRATUS is WWE champ.

 

Right. This game is so fucking awesome (not).

The game's just..odd. I appreciate the thought of making my own storyline, but the excecution is crap.

 

(Warning, rant ahead)

 

I like Raw's customizability (pyro, entrance lighting) and the music rip, but the gameplay is bleh.

 

Wrestlemania's gameplay is the best of the three (IMO) except for the clipping and such. The entrances are the best of the three, hands down..with the complete ability to make the entrance you want pose-wise and camera control.

 

Smackdown's better than Raw, but the entrances suck. The movelist is the best out of the three, as is the sheer number of CAW options.

 

Why can't they take the best out of all three and combine them? I could very well see a game using SD's Create-An-Animation and Wrestlemania's entrance style to make basically anything one could want.

Raw 2 was pretty crappy.

 

For instance, I was in a never-ending feud with Crash Holly, Torrie Wilson, and Chris Nowinski despite having a 95 popularity.

 

I also hated the fact that when a run in happened, the exact opposite effect would result. IE: Crash runs in, I expect him to destroy me, yet he helps me win.

 

The entrance editor wasn't especially useful to me since I'm not a fan of flashy entrances.

Personally, I think that's whacked. Haven't had that happened with the little I played Raw 2.

 

However, I liked changing my wrestling intro the more I was popular. Like, the intro was bland when I was like a nobody, but as THE ONLY SUPERSTAR OF THE WWE (...yes, I'm an egomaniac, sue me) I absolutely had to have the best intro possible.

there's two major glitches in Raw 2.

 

First one: Everytime there's an interferance, the person running in will attack your opponent.

 

Second: If winning the World Belt (the one that looks like WCW), a person will interfere, and will win the belt, win or lose. Though if you beat your opponent in under three minutes, you become champion

It must not be the WCW title as well because that's exactly what happened with me. Trish interfered and didn't do anything, and I beat Eddie around 4:50.

 

So you are telling me you HAVE to win the title in 3 minutes, there's only 10 minute time limit draws on Season mode matches, AND if you win by DQ/Countout in a title match, you win the title?

 

And to think they delayed the game FOR A FUCKING YEAR to fix this stuff.

 

What a dissapointment.

I hated how in the game the AI constantly stomped, pinned, stomped, pinned and it went on and on and on and was really annoying.

Another thing with the AI is when I climb to the top of the Hell in the Cell, they just sometimes stand their unless I move back down and climb again.

A game that was delayed so long shouldn't have so many problems. Anyone notice how some wrestler's entrance attire magically dissapears when you make an entrance interference?

Yeah, all that stuff has happened to me Karnage...EVERY TIME.

 

And the in-game music is extremely repetitive and boring...they should of licensed some shit like Legends of Wrestling 2.

 

Raw 2 is a joke.
