Guest Ray Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Creed. *ducks* Creed is good. Metallica.
Guest El Satanico Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Elton John.........not sure how guilty that is. It depends on which version of Elton you mean. Old Elton...good Newer Elton...not so good
Guest Choken One Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Either Elton is good in my book. I really have no problems with the modern John stuff because it's still quality.

Ed Wood Caulfield Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 (edited) And I play "MMMBop" by Hanson about 1,000 times a day mostly because it reminds me of one of the funniest MST3K riffs: (A blonde hair boy who looks like a girl, and therefore looks like a member of Hanson, runs out of a cave in slow motion.) Tom Servo(In A Slow-Motion Voice): MMMMMMMMMBOPPPPP!!!! When I heard that, I burst out laughing. I also like "MMMBop" because it reminds me of some pretty cool times I had in my life back in 1997. And I don't actually think Quarashi are bad. I play "Mr. Jinx" about 1,000 times a day. And "Stick 'Em Up" and "Baseline" are good too. And Gorillaz were alright. "Clint Eastwood", "Tommorrow Comes Today", "Left Hand Suzuki Method", "M1 A1", "Punk", "Starshine", "Rock The House", and "Re-Hash" are all good songs. Edited November 13, 2003 by The #1 MST3K Mark
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Siamese Dream, sometimes.
Guest El Satanico Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 I can't stand the Elton stuff that you mainly hear on the highly annoying easy listening radio stations. Which is mainly all of Elton's work since lion king, with some of his crappy late 80's early 90's stuff mixed in.
C Dubya 04 Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Bonnie Tyler "Total Eclipse of the Heart". I wish I were joking.
LaParkaYourCar Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 I figured I'd bump this instead of starting a new one, because I meant to post in it back before I left the board for awhile. I've been trying to branch off into different genres I didn't ever give a chance to and came up with some real guilty pleasures. Plus some guilty pleasures from genres I've listened to for awhile: Justin Timberlake (Hey his songs are catchy) DMX (I don't know why, but I like a few of his songs) 3 Doors Down (Yeah I like them. I don't think they're *****, but they're decent pop rock) Maroon 5 (Another decent pop rock group with just that little pinch of funky sound) Staind (Yeah I said it. I went to a concert and I LIKED IT!! I have a similar kind of voice so I can sing along with every song without cracking and that adds a few points in my book) Hoobastank (I didn't like their first album, but everything I've heard off their new one is catchy) 12 Stones (Not sure whatever happened to these guys, but I like every song on their album and that's always a plus) Yeah I even liked a couple of songs off Nickelback's newest album. Not enough to make me a real fan, but I guess since I don't live in Canada I'm not overexposed to them.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 I'll admit to, at one point, having both Creed and the Backstreet Boys stuck in my head and not not enjoying it. And put me down for Bonnie Tyler up there. But at least it was while watching Bandits...
PLAGIARISM! Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 I kinda like mushroomhead, and they were ok live.
PLAGIARISM! Posted May 15, 2004 Report Posted May 15, 2004 Me too, but I never saw them live. They were good, but didn't play for very long. Nothing to really make their set memorable. By the way, did you ever hear the newest album? Worth getting at a dirt cheap price?
Nighthawk Posted May 15, 2004 Report Posted May 15, 2004 Sorry, I didn't hear it. If it's dirt cheap though, I'd get it. I find a moderate enjoyment of previous work to be worth a small gamble.
PLAGIARISM! Posted May 15, 2004 Report Posted May 15, 2004 Yeah. Also, I absolutely adore 'Animal Nitrate' by Suede. They were quite good with Bernard Butler, though.
Guest AndVen Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 For some reason i like the new from Rachel Stevens, plus she's not bad looking
OldSchoolWrestling Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 Bonnie Tyler "Total Eclipse of the Heart". I wish I were joking. I actually really like her song "I Need a Hero". Probably because I'm a big fan of the movie Footloose. I also really like Kim Carnes song "Bette Davis Eyes". Love the smokey voice of Kim in that song.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 "Stripped," by Christina Aguilera. The whole CD.
Internet Warfare Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 Ballad music, music where its mostly singing and not so much music.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Creed was in my head after a WWE Desire video, so whenever the tune was running through my head, that's what I was thinking about. CM, The Offspring get stuck in your head so easily, don't they? If only it was one of their decent songs...
elite Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Sometimes, I bounce around to 80's new wave stuff like Duran Duran and Platinum Blonde. It's shameful.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Siamese Dream, sometimes. Oyveh, that's nothing to feel guilty about. Lots of hair metal and prog metal. Not that I ever buy any albums, but I'm a big fan of all the cheesy singles like "Wanted Dead Or Alive" and such. Except for Dream Theater, I think I have all of their CDs with James Labrie on vocals plus the DVD. That would be it. I have the Walk To Remember soundtrack.
