Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2003 The basic theory is correct here. They're trying to create an uneasy atmosphere for the face team by throwing the tweener/wildcard in there to see if he can co-exist with the rest of them. I don't agree that Cena should've FU'ed him on the spot, but maybe a hard shove or a stiff punch would've shown Cena as a tweener rather than being friendly with wrestler's he's had feuds with. Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted November 12, 2003 I actually think that this could work. Now, it IS gonna take some time and effort. If the WWE is going to do it or not is the question. If this fails....it's not Cena, Hayes, or the fans fault. It WILL be the bookers. It can be successful if done right. That is the key here.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2003 I don't mind that Cena attacked Benoit. I hate it when heels become faces so fast that they act like they were never heels and vice versa. It's like how Undertaker became Vince's buddy last year JUST because he turned heel.
EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2003 Now I wonder the people that are mad about this. Are they mad about what went down or do they just hate it cause it was thought up by Michael Hayes because of how he acted at the wedding? I'm think the latter. MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2003 Just in case anyone was worried, it didnt get aired. But they did show Cena walking away from the ring with a disgusted look on his face and the crowd who had gone absolutely nuts for him pinning Show was now in that stunned state. They covered it with a replay and a good camera angle (you could see in the ring but the ring was empty for all of the part that you could see).
