the pinjockey Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 Carter is doing well due to the max protect scheme that the Cowboys are running. They are making it very simple for him. The D is good enough to keep them in games. They don't really seem to create turnovers, but they can stuff teams.
fazzle Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 NOT A TD...........NOT A TD.........NOT A TD..........NOT A FUCKING TD!!! ARRGGGHHH~! That's a straight line, but yet the picture is at an angle. But yeah, not a TD.

That's a straight line, but yet the picture is at an angle. But yeah, not a TD. the picture only tells half the story though as I explained. Of course I just watched primetime, and they didn't show any angles that did not favor Davis getting a TD, let alone break down whether it was a TD or not, but I'm telling ya, Davis went to switch hands with the ball and lost control. THEN it was popped out by Bowen.
fazzle Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 But in the biggest news story of the day, immediately following the Cowboys/Pats game, Bill Parcells and Bill Belichick shocked the world by revealing their secret love affair at midfield!
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 The Dallas offense has benefitted greatly from playing teams like Atlanta and Arizona who have no defenses.

A Happy Medium Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 Parcells looks like Matlock from that angle.
CanadianChris Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 Well, this is very disconcerting. Looks like after last night's game, Parcells wanted to kiss and make up: Edit: Damn you who beat me to it...
Guest Choken One Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 Dallas' offense was never great they just had a few games were they gained a bunch of yards and somehow gave the impression the offense was good. The Cowboys D has been their strong point thus far, they've kept them in all their games, and prevented a blow out in Tampa -- and Sunday night for that matter. They got burned a few times, which turned out to cost them, but that's expected when you blitz like they do. I see them going for a running back in the off-season, Hambrick isn't cutting it (nobody wanted to take him when Dallas tried to trade him) but he'll have to do for now. Hell, they need a verteran QB too, either as a starter or in case Carter struggles. *COUGHDILLONCOUGH*
NoCalMike Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 Dallas's offense is like a dial-up modem. Usually slow and erratic, yet once inawhile the kpbs will shoot up and get you a good score.
Bored Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 Okay I've never actually bothered to watch MNF halftime this year but I wanted to so I could see Ronnie Lott's number retired. So they show Doug Flutie and some other guy playing with Nickleback and the Bare Naked Ladies? WTF WAS THAT???? At least saw a cool moment with Eddie DeBartolo at the end but caught only about 40 seconds of the whole fucking ceremony! FUCK YOU ABC! God I hate network television.
