razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2003 Man, that Sting match sucked. Shouldn't even be on this DVD. And.... Royal Rumble 1992 is overrated. ::ducks tomatoes:: It's the best Royal Rumble match I've seen, but why would anyone pimp this as a top ten or 20 WWF match? Bobby Heenan hater. Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2003 I like Rumble 92, but I was only 10 years old at the time. I didn't even like pro wrestling but the Rumble match sounded so interesting that I had to see it. I can still remember looking all beaten up but still in there. I haven't seen it again since then unfortunately, but I have an unfairly high opinion of it due to that.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2003 Clash 6 was the begining of the end with Hogan showing up and the begining of Tony Schiavonie as the ITS HOGAN ITS HOGAN HEEEEEEE'S GONNA SAVE US ALL

Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted November 30, 2003 Clash 6 was the begining of the end with Hogan showing up and the begining of Tony Schiavonie as the ITS HOGAN ITS HOGAN HEEEEEEE'S GONNA SAVE US ALL Hogan wasn't at Clash 6.

MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 I'm guessing he meant the Sting/Flair Clash match on disc 3.
Guest Tonestar Report post Posted November 30, 2003 35 bucks Damn. I finally bit the bullett and got it today for 27 bucks at B.B (it was the LAST copy!)... I've watched the Flair Heads North because The Rumble is one of my all time favorites and my god watching the rumble with DVD treatment is awesome...I then watched the tribute match and I started from the start now. My only beef as usual with WWE dvds...No FUCKING Subtitles or CC. I'm thinking of suing. Maybe. $35 AUD = about $25 US. I got staff discount though so about $22US for me. Guest Brian Report post Posted November 30, 2003 I've seen a little of it, mainly disk three, but I'm putting everything on hold until the break. I've got too much stuff to work on.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Is anyone else having skip problems with the sting/Flair match? It skips like crazy for me and I don't see any scratches. Also...Anyone agree that they skimpped on the sting/Flair chapter...they HAD to have much more stuff to show...
Guest SEX Report post Posted December 1, 2003 It skipped during the Sting V Flair match for me aswell, I thought it was just my crappy DVD player, I plan on trying it on my other player later, hopefully it wont skip
Downhome 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 At what point during the match? I'll check mine real quick for it if it's at any certain place.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Right at the start and then it kinda skips and cuts around and suddenly the screen goes to the main page (of the sting chapter)

razazteca 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Mine skips about 3 times during the match.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted December 1, 2003 at least it's not during the GOOD matches like rumble or the Windham match...whew.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 I wonder what the chances are of their releasing a "sequel" to this DVD.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Have you SEEN the money they made off this dvd? And shit...early in the thread we came up with enough material for TWO more three disc dvd's...
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 You know...that Flair/Windham match was great... but was I the only one who thought the end of the earlier Flair/Windham match (in the special features) was just the most off the hook exciting thing ever? Downhome 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Have you SEEN the money they made off this dvd? And shit...early in the thread we came up with enough material for TWO more three disc dvd's... I know all of that, but do you actually think WWE would release another one? I dunno, I somehow have my doubts just because they usually irk me. How much money has it made anyway? I know it's the best selling WWE DVD ever...but just how much is that?
Guest Choken One Report post Posted December 1, 2003 pretty exciting stuff... Ya know what I notice about flair? He must have done VERY well in Mrs. Wilson's 6th Geography class... My god he could name 50 cities in 10 seconds without missing a beat. The Final Nitro rant brought me back to another one of my favorite Flairisms... "THE STEAMBOATS, THE LUGERS, THE FUNKS, STEINERS, THE RACES, THE STINGS, THE ANDERSONS...THE BAGWELLS!"
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Considering they already own the footage...it cost them the price of printing disks, packaging and marketing...which was done on WWE TV. I'd say they made a shit ton.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Do they own the Memphis stuff? Ya GOTTA have that shit. I'm sure Lawler either still owns it or sold it to Vince by now.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 I don't know. The IWA show that runs cuts in old USWA footage with Austin all the time...and someone other than WWE has released 2 Austin DVDs worth of stuff prior to his WCW time...so I'll guess WWE doesn't have it.
