Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted November 19, 2003 So my little brother got sick about a week ago, first thing I tell him is "Don't come near me, I don't have insurance yet(waiting on it to go through via disability)". What does he do? He spends his sick time opening my bedroom door trying to see what I'm doing (which is basically sitting on my futon watching TV when I'm not in a medicine induced sleep). Then he walks around the house coughing without covering his mouth. I am now sick due to all of this. I swear little kids are nothing but hosts for viruses and other shit. I thought it was an image of what's making me sick blown up by 10,000,000% so the naked eye could see it. I bet that hat would get you single mom pussy. I've been spraying disinfectant all over the place

Mik 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2003 Speaking of PTI, did anyone hear them debate whether Dartmouth's campus or Cornell's is colder and snowier yesterday? It was a bit amusing. I didn't know until yesterday that Kornheiser's daughter goes to school with me. I should have put two and two together with the Cornell football helmet being in the background all year. Try living in Minnesota, wuss. PTI is a really great show, for those who haven't seen. I only catch it sporadically, but it never fails to entertain. Recommended, even to casual sports fans. Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted November 20, 2003 For those wondering its a sinus infection. Its all I ever get...the cool part about it is that towards the end I cough up big bloody chunks of tissue. This was more of a rant towards little kids being walking virus hosts than having the sniffles
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted November 20, 2003 I swear, adults are just as dirty. When circumstances force me into the bathroom at work, I see SOOOOOOOOOO many people walk out without washing their hands, and it almost makes me vomit. I actually, seriously, told this one fuckin' kid to go back and wash 'em, in front of everyone. He tried lying about it, which I called him on. He went back 'n washed 'em, too. That's so fucking disgusting. Do people not KNOW exactly what's in feces? and about how it gets smeared on doorknobs, vending machine buttons, and everything else that EVERYONE has to touch? Then people have the absolute temerity to whine about being sick. I've been fighting some sniffly bullshit myself, but proper hygeine, vitamins, and some dextromethorphan have taken care of that double quick. Wash your goddamn dirty bathroom hands, people. I'm the same way, If we don't have anti-bacterial hand soap in the house I go crazy. If people in the house are coughing there had better be some disinfectant spray(lysol). I'm on so many other meds for everything else I have going on with me medically(complicated shizzle) that I don't often remember to take vitamins. Going to the bathroom and not washing your hands afterwards is just nasty. Another thing...when people puke from a stomach virus and don't at least gargle warm salt water afterwards...that makes me ill too
Hoff 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2003 Minnesota doesn't get crapped on by Lake Effect snow, though. That shit is retarded cold. We have 10,000 lakes!!! Not to mention Lake Superior -- the BIGGEST great lake. ...I think (might be Michigan, I'm sure as hell too lazy to check). That is a good point, though. When I went to school in Milwaukee, the cold and snow got very unbearable at times. Same with Duluth, which is on the aforementioned Lake Superior. Green Bay has it rough, too. Minneapolis is just almost unbearably cold.

Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2003 Minnesota rules (lived there for three years and would love to go back) I think Minnesota sits in its own little meteorological vortex, since I had Canadian friends come down in the heart of winter and tell me it was fucking cold. I never really thought it was bad though because, for all the snow we'd have, wind is pretty stagnant for the most part, which I forgot about when I moved back to Kansas and found myself being greeted by Rocky Mountain winds sweeping across the plains during wintertime
