Guest The Last Free Voice Posted July 2, 2004 Report Posted July 2, 2004 What is the gimmick name for Sabins over the knee swinging rock bottom?
LucharesuFan619 Posted July 2, 2004 Report Posted July 2, 2004 It doesn't have really have one. His regular Uranage Backbreaker is the Sabalizer. I've never heard the Fallaway Slam into Sabalizer have a move. But I guess it's a variation of the Sabalizer, or something...
Guest The Ultimate Fantasy Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Hey right this is not really a "What's This Move" type post but I was wondering if any wrestler uses or if someone has a video, of someone doing a "Imploding Star Press" which is a inverted Shooting Star Press. I read about the move in a article and was wondering if it the move was not made up.

Guest The Ultimate Fantasy Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 I don't know but this is what I found as a description I found on a website: "I have heard rumors of a reverse version of the Shooting Star Press (facing away from the opponent, and leaping backwards while doing a forward 450 splash) called the Imploding Star Press" Sounds kind of cool right?

Guest Joshua A. Norton Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 The Canadian Destroyer Sunset-flip piledriver. Chris Bosh's Maximum Bosh and Photo Op
LucharesuFan619 Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 The Canadian Destroyer Sunset-flip piledriver. Chris Bosh's Maximum Bosh and Photo Op Maximum Bosh is either a backdrop suplex lift into a sideslam or a Steiner Screwdriver. Never heard've the Photo Op.

Chris Bosh's Maximum Bosh and Photo Op Maximum Bosh is either a backdrop suplex lift into a sideslam or a Steiner Screwdriver. Never heard've the Photo Op. EWR says it's a submission move. Don't know if that helps.
Dace59 Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 A "Reverse 450" has been done. Face out, leap backwards and flip forwads. But a "Reverse SSP" would be the same thing. Face out, leap backwards and flip into the SSP. Pretty hard to do without just being a Moonsault. Can do it as a Swanton though.

I read about the move in a article and was wondering if it the move was not made up. It's an invert 450, and Jack Evans calls it a, "Falling Star Press". Jack Evans does it, and I know I have a clip of it on my computer. PM Me.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 B-Boy's Cross Special Brainbuster The Shades of Jonny Saint Death is Welcome (Both by Chris Hero)
PsychoDriver Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 B-Boy's Cross Special Brainbuster The Shades of Jonny Saint Death is Welcome (Both by Chris Hero) Cross Special Brainbuster: Sort of a cross legged northern lights bomb type move. Death is Welcome: Jumping Hero's Welcome. I'm not sure on the other one.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 Cross legged NLB? Fucker, I thought I came up with that. Should have known. Just so I'm sure, the Hero's Welcome is the Last Rites/Roll the Dice, right?
LucharesuFan619 Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 The CSB is sort of like a Northern Lights Bomb where you cradle the opposite leg than waht's usually cradled with a Northern Lights Bomb. Ya, Hero's Weclome = LR/ROTD.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 I think the "Shades of Jonny Saint" is actually "The Jonny Saint Special", aka the wacky European sequence that Hero does, involving both crawling over and under his opponent, leading to a roll-up eventually.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 Oh, in his LJ he called it the Shades of Jonny Saint. And I had heard it described as some sorta reversal, so it makes sense. thanks for the help. Oh, what does Slim J use as his finisher?
Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 The Anger Management (kneeling Storm Cradle Driver from electric chair position)
AnonymousBroccoli Posted July 20, 2004 Report Posted July 20, 2004 What's a Northern Lights Bomb? I found a picture of a sequence that makes it look like Al Snow's Snow Plow. But when I've seen him do the move, he doesn't cradle any leg. Also, where'd the name "Nothern Lights" come from?
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted July 20, 2004 Report Posted July 20, 2004 It's the same move. As far as the name, I really don't know. I know the move was originated in Japan....
LucharesuFan619 Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 Isn't an NLB sorta like a bodyslam lift into an inverted DDT? That move has always confused me. It looks so different when its done in Japan compared to when Al Snow does it.
Dace59 Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 The name Northern Lights Bomb is just a gimmick name, same as Northern Lights Suplex. NBL = "Scoop" Brainbuster. (Facelock, but rather than grabbing the tights, you reach one arm between their legs) Lift and slam as Brainbuster. Snow had 2 version of the Snow Plow. 1) A crappy soft Northern Lights Bomb for the WWF 2) The Scoop Slam lift to Inverted DDT (sort of like a crappy Cradle Emeral Fusion.
Guest Joshua A. Norton Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 The crossface like submission Alex Shelley beat B-Boy with at Cage of Death V
Guest NateRizzle Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 Haven't seen the match, but my guess is the Border City Stretch.
Guest Aecas Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 Aye, The Border City Stretch is its name.
Guest Black Lightning Posted July 24, 2004 Report Posted July 24, 2004 I'm almost ashamed to ask this, but what exactly is the Stretch Plum?
Dace59 Posted July 24, 2004 Report Posted July 24, 2004 Abdominal Stretch w/ Inverted Facelock Basicly, it's your ordinary AS but while you use one arm to hook their near arm, you use your other arm to clamp on an Inverted Facelock (Dragon Sleeper style) can be done seated or standing.
