bob_barron Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Rhyno got on Vince's bad side for whatever reason. He's been sent to Velocity
Guest Fook Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 He had that house show match with Tajiri that was apparently so bad Vince had to come out and stop it. Since then, he's been in the proverbial doghouse and is now regulated to Velocity.
Brett Favre Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 But isn't he a hoss? Doesn't Vince like Hosses? Well..I guess he doesn't like talented ones.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Rhyno isn't tall enough to be a hoss. Nor did Rhyno chose to display a lot of his talent when he was given the chance (see US Title Tourney).
Guest Jimbo Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Supposedly, he had a "secret meeting" with NWA-TNA officials in Chicago a few weeks back, so he'll probably be headed there soon...
Lil' Bitch Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Last time I saw him, he was Velocity's main event and he beat Billy Kidman.
Guest Dids Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 (edited) He didn't exactly look great in any of the matches I've seen. Unless he was A LOT better in ECW- I don't think he's missed on the show. Edited November 22, 2003 by Dids

Well they did and it bored the crowd to death so Vince came out and tried to save it and/or stopped it. Then afterwards he blamed it on Rhyno.
Guest Choken One Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 I don't get the Rhyno love The man has been carried to maybe two good matches (he is on the TEST level here folks)...

Well they did and it bored the crowd to death so Vince came out and tried to save it and/or stopped it. Then afterwards he blamed it on Rhyno. The restspot was gimmicked so that Vince would come out after the crowd chanted "boring". It was all an intentional move, so that he would segue into the T & A contest after that. Vince never punished Rhyno because of that incident. Rhyno didn't do much to light the world on fire, anyway - he was being carried by Benoit, Guerrero and Tajiri throughout the end of the summer.

Guest Choken One Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 I just dont get why they couldn't squeeze five minutes after the match to do that... Hell, Just have Rhyno celebrating his win (or whoever the face was at the time) with some kids or something and then McMahon interupts and just does the T&A SHOW.
Nevermortal Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Rhyno will be gone soon, methinks.
notJames Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Feh. Rhyno's stock went way down hill after he left the Alliance and had to have neck surgery. He's a one-trick pony whose one trick has been retroactively co-opted by a guy whose initials are F.G.B. Without the Gore, he's A-Train, sans the height and fur coat. Personally, I don't mind him squashing Orlando Jordan every Saturday night. Hell, I'd take Randy Orton squashing Orlando Jordan every Saturday night, but that's another argument for another time...
Cuban Linx Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Unless Heyman gets back on the creative team i don't see Rhyno doing anything of note any time soon.
Guest Choken One Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Good. Rhyno was indeed an one trick pony... Just like Tazz, Paul Heyman made Rhyno look like an unstoppable monster. It was all just smoke and mirrors people. There never was anything special about Rhyno. So Far in his 5 years on Mainstrream level...Only two matches really stood out and were worthwhile... The Hardcore Match with Raven and the Match he had with The Rock.
Lil' Bitch Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 What about the KOTR match against Edge and the US title match on RAW following No Mercy against Angle?
Lil' Bitch Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 You don't think those really stood out and were worthwhile?
Mole Posted November 22, 2003 Author Report Posted November 22, 2003 Rhyno got on Vince's bad side for whatever reason. He's been sent to Velocity Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Thanks.
