Ric Flair DVD Set sells out...

Recommended Posts

Guest Mindless_Aggression

The new Ric Flair DVD set, WWE Ultimate Ric Flair Collection DVD, has proven to be the fastest selling in WWE history. The set's first print sold out in two days. Every copy WWE has made has been ordered by retailers which means that many retailers have had to place second and third orders. That is not very common for wrestling DVDs.

A new shipment of DVDs is expected to go out to stores next week. Until then, you may have a hard time finding them."

I'm actually kinda surprised by that. I thought Hogan's DVD would do better as far as overall sells go but it seems Flair is killing all that have came before him. Yes, even the epic Brock Lesnar DVD.

Well they already shown that they had that intention when they released the Bloodbath DVD (speaking of which, how has THAT one sold?)...

If you focus on the Austin/McMahon saga (ESP the Shane McMahon influence in Late 98 when he screwed him at Series in what was one of the all time classic swerves and Memorable Sports Entertainment moment ever)...Throw in random Shane/Vince ass kickings and every single insult Jericho and RVD ever hurled at Stephanie.

Match Set

-Austin/McMahon (St. VD Mass)

-Austin/Foley (Series)

-Shane/Test (Slam)

-Shane/Vince (WM01)

-Austin Vs Undertaker (Fully Loaded 99) (Vince leaves WWF)

-Vince/HHH (Armagededdon)

-WM 4 WAY (2000)

-Trish/Stephanie (NWO01)

-Shane/Angle (KOTR01)

-The Hostile Takeover (Shane Buys WCW)

-The Alliance forms

-Alliance Vs WWF (series 01)

Not sure how it sold, but I got it for $16.00 at Borders only a few weeks after it came out. And their DVD's usually run about $22 a pop.

I checked Best Buy and they're sold out, but sell it at $27

Suncoast has it, but they're asking $34 for it...

Yeah, I'll stick with Best Buy.

Do we really need another topic about the Flair DVD, especially when the second one only has information already found in the original?

And Rico, what's a few extra bucks when it means you can have it now and not wait for them to get their act together over at Best Buy?
