Aero Posted November 23, 2003 Report Posted November 23, 2003 I'm definitely buying X2, and maybe Bruce Almighty. I was at Suncoast last night and they were playing X2. I caught the mansion invasion scene before leaving. I'm looking forward to seeing the whole movie again on Tuesday.
eiker_ir Posted November 23, 2003 Report Posted November 23, 2003 i'm surely getting X2 right away, Bruce Almighty maybe.....some day
Bruiser Chong Posted November 23, 2003 Report Posted November 23, 2003 Maybe I'll buy X2 just so I can break the damn thing. All the people who talk about it non-stop like it's the greatest thing ever to grace the silver screen killed my interest to ever see it.
Guest Flyboy Posted November 23, 2003 Report Posted November 23, 2003 *punches Chong in the face* I'm getting X2, for sure. It'll be my first DVD purchase since I bought Family Guy, Vol. 1.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 Yeah... People always say the Godfather is great...so piss on that movie too!
Guest JumpinJackFlash Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 Yeah... People always say the Godfather is great...so piss on that movie too! It is great! I'm sick of people saying the Scarface remake is better than the Godfather, since it had lots of action, and Godfather "only had talking"!
Bruiser Chong Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 Yeah... People always say the Godfather is great...so piss on that movie too! Are you honestly comparing the Godfather to f'n X2?

notJames Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 (edited) Maybe I'll buy X2 just so I can break the damn thing. All the people who talk about it non-stop like it's the greatest thing ever to grace the silver screen killed my interest to ever see it. There isn't one movie that isn't worth checking out. I can name a myriad of titles that would fit that bill: Glitter Crossroads From Justin To Kelly Honey Gigli Battlefield Earth American President The Lizzie McGuire Movie XXX Fast and the Furious Titanic Gladiator Hard Rain Save The Last Dance Blue Crush Ready To Rumble Cat in the Hat The Grinch ... I could do this all day... Edited November 24, 2003 by notJames
DerangedHermit Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 i like ready to rumble You sicko. Nah, you're not. It was hardly the worst movie with wrestlers in it.
Ed Wood Caulfield Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 The MST3K fan in me made me want to check out Crossroads and Glitter just to riff on it, and sadly, those movies are as bad as everyone hypes them up to be. Sometimes I was so caught up in how bad those films were, that it was difficult to make fun of it. Glitter even made fun of itself. They're not the worst films ever though. Any MST3K fan will tell you there have been more wretched films made that make Glitter seem like Citizein Kane. Invasion of the Neptune Men for example. I think I may even give Gigli a try, since I think MST3K has made me immune to horrible movies. And I also liked Ready To Rumble. No Holds Barred was worst than Ready To Rumble.
