The morale backstage at TNA is said to be very low following the PPV on Wednesday. Many wrestlers are frustrated and feel that the promotion is becoming the "Jeff Jarrett show" and won't ever change.

Dear Talented TNA Wrestlers Not Already Employed BY ROH (ie Julio Dinero)

Give Rob a call. Go North, where fans respect decent wrestling, and not some untalented hick who's only on top of the promotion because his Daddy runs it.

-------------------------------------------------------

To everyone else already working for ROH (but mainly Raven, Punk, and Chris Sabin)

When your TNA Contracts expire, GET THE FUCK OUT OF NASHVILLE, leaving a shell of a promotion, with Jarrett feuding with a load of Puerto Ricans that Dutch Mantell loves, Jean Pierre LaFitte as X Champion, and AMW on their nine billionth reigh as tag champs (although theyll still bitch about jobbing). Then, this joke of a promotion can die, and ROH can take its rightful place as NO. 2 Promotion in the states.

Sincerly, Dave JW O'Neill

Did you know that Jeff Jarrett himself put up the money for this promotion, not Jerry Jarrett and that Jeff runs it, not his daddy?

To O'Neill I say dumbass.

And no promotion will ever be #2 to WWE unless Bill Gates buys every independent promotion and merges it into one and buys every talented guy not in WWE.

I have yet to see ONE puerto rican (RACISCM FROM O NEILL) enter the promotion, let alone a bunch.

Abyss doesn't count since he is from the states and wrestled mainly in the states until wrestling for IWA. Plus I think he was on the first ever PPV as Justice (I'm not sure).

If Jeff Jarrett is the owner and puts himself over, why not bitch about McMahon-a-mania running wild on WWE television?

And wow The Torch is very reliable source these days.

Uh huh and..............he always is bitching about Jeff being on top because his daddy runs it. I'm once again pointing out how he has no clue what he is talking about because Jeff runs everything, not his father. If you're going to Bitch, at least Bitch with the accurate facts.

That assbackwards justification is whats gonna keep TNA at the b-rate level it is today. When your following the standard set by the WWE your in trouble....

Fine. Then Jarrett is only on top of the promotion becasue he himself is running the company. It took VKM over 20 years to put the World Title on himself, Jarrett did it in less than six months.

I don't care about The McMahons being on TV. They're charismatic, can cut coherent promos and don't call themselves "The Stupidstar" live on PPV. Besides, Steph is nice to look at.

The difference?

Jarrett is an ACTUAL TRAINED WRESTLER...McMahon was not.

Besides, this trick isn't new. If you can contact spirits, just ask the Von Erich family.

Apolo was in TNA BEFORE (WAY BEFORE) Mantel became booker. Try Week 1-6 Apolo was around, more than 15 months ago.

If McMahons are "charismatic", then why did the fans in the arena totally shit on Stephanies gay 20 minute promo the week of No Mercy?

And Damn! I spelled Racism wrong.

Jarrett waited until November of 2002 to put the belt on himself. Reason being is that at the time the company was just getting off the ground, and the choices for a champion were pretty rough. You had Shamrock, whom they thought would be good but had no real charisma/fan interaction. Scott "Alka" Hall would be too much of a risk. No way in hell was Brian Christopher getting a World Title, and Ron Killings was still on his way up the card. When Killings took off, they capitalized and put the belt on him, THEN Jarrett got the belt. In the meantime, the man feuded with A COUNTRY SINGER AND NASCAR DRIVER, taking bumps for them and everything. Granted, his strong booking of himself these days is not what I look forward to, but give Jarrett the credit that he did not make himself out to be the franchise of this promotion right off the bat.

Yeah, last night i was watching an old TNA episode I taped, and it featured Jeff Jarrett and Bruce vs Herbie Sadler and BG James. It wasn't even close to being the main event and Sadler pinned Bruce in the match.

I have nothing against Jeff Jarrett. He is entertaining and he's been a good champion.

If by "entertaining" you mean "wish that TNA was on free TV instead of PPV so you could change the channel while not feeling guilty," and by "good champion" you mean "Jesus," then sure...

I can understand why morale is low. Whereas the workers used to be able to do whatever they wanted in their match during the time frame, we now have a guy that is drawing a LOT of heat from the fanbase for his style of booking telling them they can't do half of the moves that made them popular in the first place.

I know that if I was a worker in TNA, and some schmuck unfamiliar with the product came in and told me to tone down my moveset and to do things that have gone against the booking of my character for the past year or so, I'd be angry. And that schmuck, in this case, is Mantel.

I think my hatred for Jarrett is already known, so no comment there.

I can understand why people don't like Jeff Jarrett. I didn't even realize that I liked the guy until the past few months.

Anyway, I have mixed feelings about Dutch Mantell. As much as I like consistency in my wrestling shows, I also don't like paying ten bucks to see buildup to something cool that is going to happen on a later date.

And I've had enough of Michael Shane as X Champ. Off topic, maybe, but he's had that damn title long enough.

You originally asked me, and i quote

While I can understand your point.... your question should have been rephrased (i.e. How many Puerto Rican's has Dutch Mantell brought in.......if you's asked me that, I would have given it to ya)

Ron Killings was still on his way up the card. When Killings took off, they capitalized and put the belt on him,

And what's he done since??? One of my big problems with Jarrett is that he completely buried Killings after beating him for the belt

but give Jarrett the credit that he did not make himself out to be the franchise of this promotion right off the bat.

Oh I'm sorry, who was the first wrestler to make an appearance on TNA, and bitch about having to win the world title in a battle royal.

I have nothing against Jeff Jarrett. He is entertaining and he's been a good champion.

The only time I ever found Jarrett entertaining is at Mayhem 2000, and he called himself "The Stupidstar"

Good Champion? Who the hell has he defended it agaianst?????

Furthermore, I wouldn't be surprised if he drops the belt to Styles, so he can get out of jobbing it to Raven, and then maneuvering himself into a feud with Raven to get "his" title back. If this happens, I'll be on the first goddammed flight to Nashville and I'll kill him with my bare hands (I do Krav Maga)

You shpuld see me playing Smackdown: HCTP, I made myself in Create a Wrestler, and am Hardcore Champion and Tag Team Champion, with a week left before Wrestlemania.

I really should make Jarrett and squash him a few times, just to make me feel good

Haha, that sounds like a good time. I used to create wrestlers based on people I didn't like on my No Mercy game for the N64. I'd come home after a bad day and challenge them to ladder matches.

Nah, I prefer straight up single matches. Mainly because my strategy for winning matches basically consists of kicking the opponent in the head until the head turns orange, and then i hit a TTD, and then resume kicking, until i get my finishers (I go for two "S"'s), Rodney Mack's Blackout and The Chick Kick (which, believe it or not, if the head is on red, can draw blood)

LoL! Well, when I eventually get HCTP, I'll probably do the same if the basic matches can become that violent.

In the meantime I still enjoy the simple joys of beating an idiot over the head with a ladder :)

Ladder matches are insanely difficult in HCTP, just as a warning to ya, for when you get it

Oh, they are? Thanks for the head's up. I don't think I'll mind that too much seeing as they are insanely easy in SYM.

How the hell did Jeff Jarrett bury The Truth? He never squashed him, or buried him in a promo. Truth got lost in the shuffle of the Russo storyline, and management had no clue how to use him until recently.

Stop blaming Jeff Jarrett for everyone's reputation in TNA.

Stop blaming Jeff Jarrett for everyone's reputation in TNA.

Stop using common sense and facts, it doesn't go over well around here.

There are 2 truths to the wrestling business that will remain eternal:

A: Workers will always complain about their push

B: Newsletters will always seek out and make a big deal out of workers complaining about their push.

Most of those who report that morale is so low everywhere really have credibility. Whenever they give uncredited quotes, I get the impression that the newswriter wrote the quote himself. If these newslists were covering any other subject besides wrestling, they would be a laughing stock.

Stop making sense please, I didn't think it was allowed anymore on the TNA board.

Jarrett hunting for the title made me like him...a LOT. I think Jarrett as the heel looking for his title shot was a GREAT angle, and it got him INSANELY over with the crowd. I never liked him more than during that time, because he was made to look as strong and as weak as everybody else, and was just a superb heel.

Now? Triple Jeff Hogan.
