Shocker

Recommended Posts

Of all the current wrestlers working in lucha libre, I think Shocker might have a chance getting over as a cruiserweight in WWE or TNA - anyone have any thoughts on this?

OK.

Yes, he is a great heel or face. He is fluent in both langages. He has chrisma. He can work such a good match. His workrate is really amazing. I always enjoy watching Shocker.

The only time I've ever seen Shocker wrestle was at MLW Reload against La Parka, and he was certainly over then. He had a natural charisma that both I and the live crowd on the video, kinda dug

I haven't seen him wrestle lately and the last time I saw him, he had a small moveset of yakuza kicks, belly-to-belly suplex, and the Flying Elbow Drop.

It can get scarey at times when Shocker uses the Kick as a clothesline in a Ultimate Warrior fashion, does he really need to do 4 in a row for a pinfall? If Shocker can get over in America it would have to be in the NWA TNA X division where he can showcase his skills and not worry about getting squashed by a hoss.

Well if you only seen Shocker vs Vampiro than I have to agree with you but you must watch every and all Shocker vs Guerreros del Inferinos matches then you can tell me he sucks.

Shocker vs Ultimo Guerrero Dec 2002 and the rematch weeks later are Match of the Year *****.

Shocker > La Parka

Damn It!

Guess who those matches were with though? Rey Bucanero and Ultimo Guerrero. Have there been any Shocker matches that were actually good that didn't include Bucanero and Guerrero carrying him?

Of course,he had an excellent match with Tarzan Boy a few weeks back. Shocker is consistant.

I caught that on TV the other day, like at 3am in the morning, and I really enjoyed it.

It goes both ways as Shocker has bumped his ass off for all of the double and triple team moves that make GDI so F'N great.

Well, Shocker has been working with GDI or Vampiro for nearly TWO years on Galavision. Some of his tag matches with Mascara Magica were good. I think Shocker was in some matches with Hijo del Santo and might of been in some Cybernetico matches.
