TSA09 Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 I'm not sure how many people have heard about this, but I was watching Cold Pizza and they are doing a segment on a Lingere Bowl that will be on PPV during Half Time of the Super Bowl on February 1st. The idea is models and actresses playing tackle football in nothing but lingere. The spokesperson said they hope to make this a yearly event.
the max Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Reason #13536235 why I hate the NFL. Does this belong at a major sports event?
Guest Evolution Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Does this belong at a major sports event? At a major sports event where it can't be guaranteed that the one and only game that millions will be watching will be any good without performing illegal activities? Yes, yes it does. It doesn't belong at the World Series, NBA or NHL Championships. The two teams have a few games to get it right in those cases.
TSA09 Posted December 3, 2003 Author Report Posted December 3, 2003 It's on PPV, I don't believe that it will be at the actual Half Time show of teh Super Bowl. It will be shown during Half Time but they didn't say anything about this taking place in Houston.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Women running around in skimpy nighties. Yeah, there's a real shortage of that in this world. Where do I sign up to buy the PPV?...
TSA09 Posted December 3, 2003 Author Report Posted December 3, 2003 They'll probably advertize it closer to the Super Bowl
Guest FrigidSoul Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Its not going to happen in Houston but somewhere else Wanna know the real kicker? Lawrence Taylor and Eric Dickerson will be the head coaches of the two teams
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Mike Tyson would make a better coach...

I am SHOCKED and HORRIFIED that something like this could happen. You were watching Cold Pizza?

TSA09 Posted December 3, 2003 Author Report Posted December 3, 2003 I actually like Cold Pizza. Besides I need to have something on in the morning as I'm getting ready for work.
Guest Choken One Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Watch the Farming Report then...
Guest Evolution Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Watch the Farming Report then... The Farming Report is so repetitive, it seems like they're using the same angles over and over. Rainy season for the Midwest, dry season in the South, etc.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 TSA was drawn in by those ZANY ANTICS of Kit That one chick on that show needs to lay off "cold pizza" and focus more on a treadmill...
TSA09 Posted December 3, 2003 Author Report Posted December 3, 2003 It's a perfect show to watch when you are getting ready....besides some stuff on there is amuzing.
starvenger Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 It's a perfect show to watch when you are getting ready....besides some stuff on there is amuzing. Well yes, but Thea Andrews can't be on all the time...
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 I watched that show for about 8 seconds and had a seizure from the waves of chipper morning suck that were coming off my tv set.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Found out yesterday that this PPV is going to cost $30. Riiiiiight...
Skywarp! Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 I'm waiting for one of the sluts to get a compound fracture on live TV, then the show suddenly ceases to be sexy...
Guest Choken One Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 This should be on E! or something not 30 buck PPV...
starvenger Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Found out yesterday that this PPV is going to cost $30. Riiiiiight... Funny, I heard that that'll be the markup for a "dance" at the Houston "ballets" during the Super Bowl...

Guest Choken One Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 So...It's either this or Aerosmith. I still can't understand why Aerosmith gets yet ANOTHER SB performence. At least's it not country.
starvenger Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 So...It's either this or Aerosmith. I still can't understand why Aerosmith gets yet ANOTHER SB performence. At least's it not country. At least Aerosmith fits the demographic for a typical football audience - even though the Super Bowl audience isn't what you would call "typical". Remember Michael Jackson at halftime?
Guest Choken One Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 Yes... Aerosmith is the ideal act for the Market. Well known. Nearly everyone knows Walk This Way (which WILL get played). Last year with No Doubt and Shania Twain was just horrible. U2 was good but I can't see them doing another one.
starvenger Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 Last year with No Doubt and Shania Twain was just horrible. U2 was good but I can't see them doing another one. Not entirely horrible. I was hypnotized by Shania's cleavage. And I'm a mark for No Doubt, but I gotta say that "Just a Girl" was a curious choice for the Super Bowl. Sting was just kinda there. Rumour about U2 was that they did it gratis simply because they knew the exposure alone was priceless. I'd love to see them again, but I think that it's one of those things that you'll only see once.
