Lingere Bowl

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure how many people have heard about this, but I was watching Cold Pizza and they are doing a segment on a Lingere Bowl that will be on PPV during Half Time of the Super Bowl on February 1st. The idea is models and actresses playing tackle football in nothing but lingere. The spokesperson said they hope to make this a yearly event.

Does this belong at a major sports event?

At a major sports event where it can't be guaranteed that the one and only game that millions will be watching will be any good without performing illegal activities?

Yes, yes it does.

It doesn't belong at the World Series, NBA or NHL Championships.

The two teams have a few games to get it right in those cases.

It's on PPV, I don't believe that it will be at the actual Half Time show of teh Super Bowl. It will be shown during Half Time but they didn't say anything about this taking place in Houston.

Its not going to happen in Houston but somewhere else

Wanna know the real kicker? Lawrence Taylor and Eric Dickerson will be the head coaches of the two teams

I am SHOCKED and HORRIFIED that something like this could happen.

You were watching Cold Pizza?

Watch the Farming Report then...

The Farming Report is so repetitive, it seems like they're using the same angles over and over.

Rainy season for the Midwest, dry season in the South, etc.

I watched that show for about 8 seconds and had a seizure from the waves of chipper morning suck that were coming off my tv set.

Found out yesterday that this PPV is going to cost $30.

Riiiiiight...

Funny, I heard that that'll be the markup for a "dance" at the Houston "ballets" during the Super Bowl...

So...It's either this or Aerosmith.

I still can't understand why Aerosmith gets yet ANOTHER SB performence.

At least's it not country.

At least Aerosmith fits the demographic for a typical football audience - even though the Super Bowl audience isn't what you would call "typical". Remember Michael Jackson at halftime?

Yes...

Aerosmith is the ideal act for the Market.

Well known. Nearly everyone knows Walk This Way (which WILL get played).

Last year with No Doubt and Shania Twain was just horrible.

U2 was good but I can't see them doing another one.

Not entirely horrible. I was hypnotized by Shania's cleavage. And I'm a mark for No Doubt, but I gotta say that "Just a Girl" was a curious choice for the Super Bowl. Sting was just kinda there.

Rumour about U2 was that they did it gratis simply because they knew the exposure alone was priceless. I'd love to see them again, but I think that it's one of those things that you'll only see once.
