NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 I am referring to the fall in which RVD kicked out, after he had been laying there for an hour. I believe Batista was covering him after he got pedigreed. I dunno how you guys percieved it, but for the first time in a long time I heard a different kind of booing from the crowd. It wasn't the "boo for the heels" heat, no my friends, it was the, "oh gawd not this bullshit finish AGAIN GAWDAMMIT" I mean as soon as Batista crawled across the ring for the cover, the crowd was pretty much GROANING. It was weird, but kind of refreshing to see that even marks are starting to get sick and tired of this shit.......

Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 16, 2003 Vince doesn't care anymore. He's writing shows to amuse himself anymore and doesn't give a damn what any of the fans think. Remember his goal is to have a WWF with no wrestling.
Guest Quik Report post Posted December 16, 2003 How long until fans start hucking garbage at the ring after every HHH win?
art_vandelay 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 What stuck out in my mind about that whole bit was how effortlessly Triple H was able to put RVD in the pedigree. RVD had Batista covered, and all Triple H did was climb into the ring, and pick a perfectly healthy RVD up to pedigree him. I was happy to see him kick out of the move, though. Guest Frank Grimes Report post Posted December 16, 2003 And all it took for someone to kick out of the pedigree was getting covered by someone else 30 seconds after the move was applied. I also noticed that RVD seemingly volunteered to be pedigreed.

Guest Goodear Report post Posted December 16, 2003 What a bunch of BITCHES. RVD KICKED OUT! What more do you want, a match where Evolution gets no offense at all? Christ, if that was the finish you would have a complaint... but it wasn't. It was a near fall situation that gave RVD a rub as one of the very few people to kick out of a pedigree. The fact that the crowd bought it as a finish is a good thing.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted December 16, 2003 Yep. Bitching commences. It was fourmula. They've done this finish long before HHH's daddy shot his spern into Mrs. Levequse.

Guest Danny Dubya v 2.0 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 And how could anyone not kick out of that palm shove into the mat that was Triple H's Pedigree last night? Until this Raw I hadn't noticed just how pathetic his finishing move has become.

Until this Raw I hadn't noticed just how pathetic his finishing move has become. I know, it's horrendous. The guy just falls down, while Hunter jumps back...lots of times he barely holding onto the guy by the end of the move. I'll never remember the awfulness that started the HBK/HHH fued...he must have been 4 feet away from Michael's head....yeesh...

He is very immobile, and obviously that move should be changed before he kills someone.

The fact that the crowd bought it as a finish is a good thing. I don't think they are bitching about the actual finish. It seems that the original poster is pointing out that the fans were expecting another BS HHH 30 second pedigree delay finish so they were booing before the cover was even made. Then they surprised us by having RVD kick out. He was pointing that the fans are starting to anticipate what will happen. So basically........calm the fuck down. notJames 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 Kinda sorta unrelated: I wish JR would stop calling it a tiger bomb, because it's just a sitting powerbomb. A tiger bomb is what Jamie Noble does. Not that I'm surprised that JR's addled brain can't wrap around concepts like the actual names of finishers. To the glue factory with you!

Is it just me or has JR just not been the same since his dear momma died? I know that sounds very cold but perhaps he lost some of the passion he had for it when she passed away He just never felt the same after that.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 Could be. When did she die? It must have been after his Bell's Palsy seizure, right? Actually, he had the seizure after he found out she died. It was live on a UK PPV if I remember correctly. He had the seizure shortly after that.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 Waitaminute... did he have the seizure during the UK PPV, or hear about his mom at the PPV? Because I thought it was the former. I'm pretty sure he had the seizure after finding out she died. If I recall correctly, he found out on the PPV and just kind of broke down and had the seizure. Someone else might have a better memory of this but I'm almost positive he had the seizure during the PPV after learning his mom had either passed away or had become extremely ill. He has to mean from above cause she is dead, that I am sure of. At least, I hope he means from above otherwise I am very worried about him.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 Just wanted to point out that Jaimie Noble doesn't do a Tiger Bomb. There is no such thing. He does a Tiger Driver so.......you and JR are wrong.
Guest ManKinnd Report post Posted December 16, 2003 Just wanted to point out that Jaimie Noble doesn't do a Tiger Bomb. There is no such thing. He does a Tiger Driver so.......you and JR are wrong. I was under the impression that the suffix "bomb" is used when the person giving the move remains standing, and "driver" is used for "seated" moves, when the person giving it goes down with his opponent, like a Michinoku Driver or Piledriver. Since Noble stays standing to give his move unlike, say Misawa, who goes down with it, his is a Tigerbomb and Misawa's is the Tigerdriver.
Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 Yeah I think it is Tiger Bomb. Isn't a Tiger Driver when the person does pretty much a double underhook piledriver, or something like that?
