Guest Basswitch Posted December 26, 2003 Report Posted December 26, 2003 Man i just watched this, and i must have missed it when they aired it. But i think everyone should watch it. Its the WWE Tribute to all the wrestlers that died in 03. Its really pretty sad. It this is considered posting Media then the post on the General wrestling board should be too. Sonic Reducer Posted December 26, 2003 Report Posted December 26, 2003 It's a very well done video. I like the ending.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 Nice to see Crash is appreciated. Note: the new WWE Smackdown Magazine has an article on Crash, and some of the superstars thoughts and stories of him.
iliketurtles Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 Thanks for posting, just too bad the sound is off by like 3 seconds even though the video quality is very good. Nice touch at the end with putting Hart/Hennig's picture next to each other considering they both were very friendly families with each other.
The Amazing Rando Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 man... every time I watch that I cry ... there are so many nice shots... Crash's thumbs up The Hart/Micheals pic Hawk spreading his arms toward the audience Elizabeth on Savage's shoulder When Blassie exits through the double doors into the light i get choked up... Mr. Perfect's smile and the TOSS~!
Guest Douche Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 Damn it hit me hard that all 6 are GONE. 6. Hawk, Blassie, Liz, Crash, Stu, and Hennig.
BifEverchad Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 Damn it hit me hard that all 6 are GONE. 6. Hawk, Blassie, Liz, Crash, Stu, and Hennig. Puts things into perspective, eh?
Kardo Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 And to think 4 of them were young or in the middle of their lives...
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 WWE no-sold Moondog Spots death, but they probably didn't even know about it.
Guest Choken One Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 Moondog never was a WWE personality to begin with... Other Wrestling personalities died this year as well besides those Six and Moondog...The Shiek, One of the Pittbulls and a couple Japan wrestlers.

Weren't Moondog Rex & Spot the version in WWF in the early-mid 80s?
iliketurtles Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Weren't the Moondogs former WWF tag champs?
MillenniumMan831 Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Weren't the Moondogs former WWF tag champs? Rex and King were, but when Spot entered the picture, they were just a midcard team.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Thank you very much for putting this up. It may well have been the best thing the WWF/E has done all year. I got those DVDs at Walgreens, and when I see Crash Holly, I just can't believe he's dead. I never really saw much of the others, but my God, it's just incredible. I still can't see it.
MixxMaster Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 I have a very great quality of that video, as well as the one shown on Smackdown! with the WWE in Iraq. They are on Kazaa. WWE - Forever in Our Hearts 2003.mpg WWE Smackdown! - In Baghdad Video.mpg both are in high quality MPEG2 format(perfect for putting on DVD) Enjoy!!!
Downhome Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 What's so hard for me, is that three of these six are so much a part of my memories from years past. Hawk, Mr. Perfect, and Miss Elizabeth. I mean, these three did so much in my growing up watching the industry. If anyone, ANYONE told me on Jan. 1st 2003 that by years end all three of those people would be dead, I wouldn't believe you. I mean, Mr. Perfect...dead!? One half of the Road Warriors, HAWK, dead?? Miss Elizabeth, the first lady of Pro. Wrestling...gone? No, I still find it too hard to believe totally, it's just "not right". I'm still in shock over all of them, but specificly these three.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 I think sometimes we think these people are immortal. I mean, remember when half the people watching Over the Edge thought Owen's death was a work? We always think people will be around forever. I'm as guilty of this as anyone.
