Lil' Bitch Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 Well, I'm getting my computer upgraded next month to have even more Gigs and a cap card, thankfully there is a video store downtown with some classic WWF PPVs, pre-Attitude and Attitude Era like, which ones should I get?
MillenniumMan831 Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 Do you have any idea which ones they have, because if they're cheap enough, just buy them all.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 Do you have any idea which ones they have, because if they're cheap enough, just buy them all. Can't go wrong there. Buy anything and everything possible, thats my motto.
Tawren Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 Buy them all. The ones you don't want, sell cheaply to me!
MillenniumMan831 Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 Buy them all. The ones you don't want, sell cheaply to me! And of those ones you don't want, sell even cheaplier to me.
JustJoe2k5 Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 Most of the Coliseum videos have atleast two or three good matches each, but for every Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart match, they'll have two or three Repo Man vs. Skinner matches.
The Tino Standard Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 Hey, the Repo Man and Skinner put on a 45-minute 5-star classic in Guadalahara back in '91... Leave them alone.
Guest theoldxpac Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 ^^^You mean the one that know one ever saw
Sonic Reducer Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 I saw it. I give it 6 stars. It sets a new standard.
Placebo Effect Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 Hey, the Repo Man and Skinner put on a 45-minute 5-star classic in Guadalahara back in '91... Leave them alone. You sure it wasn't in Rio de Janeiro?

You sure it wasn't in Rio de Janeiro? That was the 60 minute draw the next night. I think Pat Patterson was refereeing the match.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 I mark out for 1987-1994 time frame, so even the shit I find enjoyable... Except for Jim Niedhart vs. Warlord on the World Tour Coliseum Video. I think it was the 1991 one.

But yeah, I enjoy anything from 1984ish-1993ish. The Doink face turn was the final straw.

He had some ***** matches with Bam Bam Bigelow that had the fans begging for more. [/Reverse Universe Mode] Now in real life. The Doink face turn blew chunks, resulting in a terrible feud with Bigelow, and a horrible SSeries 94 angle with midgets, that had the fans begging for mercy.

The sad thing was I didn't mind Doink turning face. It was all the BS that came with it. The midgets, pogosticks, ect were depressing. I figured he would play mindgames with heels. Double Doinks but maybe only one would wrestle while the other chuckles outside the ring throwing confetti in the crowd while the heel doesn't know what's gonna happen. Vince could play it off as an illusion while the heel announcer complains. Eh, I dunno. I think I'm just pissed they changed his entrance music.
Papacita Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Why the hell was Doink turned face in the first place?
Lil' Bitch Posted January 4, 2004 Author Report Posted January 4, 2004 ^ I forgot the exact scenario, but it had something to do with Lawler.
JustJoe2k5 Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 I remember he threw water on Bobby Heenan, and started jumping around and laughing like face Doink would eventually do. Was that his face turn?
