2GOLD Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 In the words of the ECW crowd.... "HOLY SH*T! HOLY SH*T! HOLY SH*T!"
Guest FrigidSoul Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 I wonder who Vikings fans hate more The Cardinals Mike Tice who can't get his team to play for their lives Or the Broncos for basically handing the Packers the game by resting everybody and their mom
Edwin MacPhisto Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 WOW. What an INSANE day. And with the way the Packers played today and the emotion that team's got going...I would not want to be whoever they're playing next week.
the pinjockey Posted December 29, 2003 Author Report Posted December 29, 2003 Holy shit dude. On a sadder note, next week's NFC games look like they are going to suck the fat one. Seattle gets massacred in GB Carolina and Dallas play a shitty game and one pulls out an ugly win

HOW IN THE HELL!?!?!?! My god, the NFL is getting fun
Cartman Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 well the NFC as a whole blows anyways. I mean noone can make a case for the Rams anymore either. Pathetic.
the pinjockey Posted December 29, 2003 Author Report Posted December 29, 2003 If the Eagles don't get to the Super Bowl this year, I guarantee there is going to be an uprising in Philly to blow up the whole team. Injuries or not, there is no excuse for them not coming out of the NFC now with the home field advantage.
jimmy no nose Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 Damn, I thought the Browns and Lions were surprises in their changing the playoff picture, but if there's one team I thought had no chance it was the Cardinals. So much was decided today. This league is getting too crazy for me.

Rob E Dangerously Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 which game would be more meaningful for Vermiel, KC v. STL or KC v. Philadelphia?
the pinjockey Posted December 29, 2003 Author Report Posted December 29, 2003 KC vs. Philly He is still a hero around these parts. Granted, I am sure they still like him around St. Louis. But he is a staple in the Philly area.
CanadianChris Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 I wonder who Vikings fans hate more The Cardinals Mike Tice who can't get his team to play for their lives Or the Broncos for basically handing the Packers the game by resting everybody and their mom Among those three, Tice, no doubt. The Packers would've won no matter who was playing for Denver today, and the Cardinals showed up and just wanted this one more. The Vikings showed absolutely no heart today.

Seattle gets massacred in GB Carolina and Dallas play a shitty game and one pulls out an ugly win Thank God there's only one on each day. At least we've got SOME good football to watch on both days.
CanadianChris Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 Corey Dillon declared that today's game was his last as a Bengal...immediately after they lost to the Browns to end their season. Classy.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 So its Jamal Lewis, who may have the all-time record, against the top-ranked rush defense next week. And Steve McNair versus Ray Lewis. What a game. Im so pumped. Personally, I think the Ravens can beat the Titans, but no one is gonna give them any chance in the game. Should be a good game though, probably the best wild card matchup, considering how the last Colts/Broncos game went and the two bad NFC games.

That defense is dangerous and I really don't want them playing against NE. The Ravens scare me.

That defense is dangerous and I really don't want them playing against NE. The Ravens scare me. The only way they end up in NE is if they beat the Titans and the Chiefs. If they do that, they should scare everyone. And remember, the Ravens played the Chiefs to a 10-10 game midway through the 4th, only to lose on a Dante Hall punt return for a TD (back when he was on fire every week). They shut down Holmes and Green, and this was back with Boller. And lets not forget the most important thing: Jamal Lewis vs the Chiefs' crappy rush defense.. But I guess I should put the cart back behind the horse..the Ravens still have to play the Steelers and the Titans..
CanadianChris Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 The only way they end up in NE is if they beat the Titans and the Chiefs. If they do that, they should scare everyone. No...if the Colts beat the Broncos, the Ravens would play New England if they beat Tennessee.

No...if the Colts beat the Broncos, the Ravens would play New England if they beat Tennessee. you think Peyton can win a playoff game, especially vs the Broncos based on last weeks game? Im thinking not.

Im thinking not. Ah...that's what I thought you meant, but I wasn't sure. Two things: 1) Dallas @ Carolina is the Saturday night game? UGH. The Saturday night game on wild-card weekend should be special...this ain't it. 2) Watching the pregame package on ESPN, there's no way Jamal Lewis is coming out of the game after he hits 2,000. EVERYONE on that team, including Billick, wants him to get the record.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 I think Jamal will play at max 3 quarters unless the game is really close. Put Musa Smith in there and let him run for another garbage TD. Billick is crazy if he leaves Jamal in for the whole game, record or no record. No way the Ravens are doing anything in the playoffs if they dont have Jamal.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 ugh, nice drive by the Ravens ends in an INT. Normally though, Todd Heap comes up with those catches... Ed Reed with a huge interception!
CanadianChris Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 Good God...Lewis passes 2000 on an incredible TD run. He could get this record by halftime at this rate.
Cuban Linx Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 Ravens TD, and Jamal Lewis moves to 3rd all time with 2025 yards.
Agent_Bond34 Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 How much closer is Jamal to the record?
CanadianChris Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 How much closer is Jamal to the record? 81 yards away.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 This is incredible. This is watching a guy who just knows he's going to get it...and no one is going to stop him.
Agent_Bond34 Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 How much closer is Jamal to the record? 81 yards away. Good I hope he breaks it, mostly because the guy holding it is a Ram, and I hate the Rams.
