Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted January 10, 2004 I'm the only person who picked the Titans? It must be because they're completely outclassed and riddled with injuries. Only 2 people picked Philly. That's interesting. Everybody also has the winner of KC/Indy putting up over 30 pts. I'm definitely glad I've got more than just the Tennessee/New England game differing with Gert.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 OMG...I think a few people are going to be a little off on the score of the Titans-Pats game. Wind chill will be -15ºF. I'm predicting Pats 3, Titans 0 now.

kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2004 Two different games -- four possible outcomes. To make it easier to understand, I made the following scenarios: If Indy wins, Chris advances. If New England wins, Gert advances. If Carolina wins, fazzle advances. If Philly wins, Fly advances. ********************************** Canadian Chris (Denver) @ Gert T (NY Jets) Gert T Indianapolis 20, New England 24 Carolina 17, Philadelphia 20 Canadian Chris Indianapolis 30, New England 27 Carolina 17, Philadelphia 20 Differing picks: IND/NE ************************** Fazzle (Carolina) @ Human Fly (Washington) Fazzle Indianapolis 31, New England 17 Carolina 22, Philadelphia 20 Human Fly Indianapolis 27, New England 20 Carolina 13, Philadelphia 23 Differing picks: CAR/PHI

Gert T 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2004 KKK, sorry I sent another PM before looking here. I thought you hadn't gotten my picks and 1 hour before the game didn't want everybody looking for my head! Good luck everybody, and KKK you've done a great job dealing with all the headaches. Your hate for Middletown must have pushed you through the tough times.
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2004 (edited) Middletown wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for all the rednecks and ghetto trash there. Cost of living was low and they had O'Charlie's AND Golden Corral. Oh, and fuck Mid-First Credit Union. Overqualified my ass -- hopefully the cancer I wished upon you bitch has already taken shape, undetected. Sorry, got a little sidetracked. If I decide to do this next year there will be several safeguards/changes to make sure problems that happened this year won't occur again. (Example: I would handle the next contest so that it would be impossible for anybody to lose their team -- I'll explain later.) Also, for anyone reading this -- what would you all think about putting in a few dollars to make future contests more interesting? (I wouldn't receive a cut of any money, btw, 100% would go toward payouts.) Oh, and my real hatred is for State College, Pa... Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2004 Well, I guess it's appropriate. Kind of weird. Carolina vs the team with the best record in the league. In both the Super Bowl and KKK Bowl.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2004 (edited) Well, I guess it's appropriate. Kind of weird. Carolina vs the team with the best record in the league. In both the Super Bowl and KKK Bowl. Yeah, that too. I was referring more to the fact that my fate, as Carolina, was in Carolina's hands Plus it's also Carolina vs. an AFC East team. Ooooooh, spooooooky. Edit: Plus, as in "anything special" I was talking more about extra stuff to predict, instead of just the winner and the score.
