Michrome Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 You guys think there's any chance London makes the rumble?
Guest Dave O'Neill, Journalist Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Maybe him and Spanky will do a Kaientai run-in
Si82 Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Maybe him and Spanky will do a Kaientai run-in So which one is gonna end up smashing their nose all over the mats outside?
Guest Dave O'Neill, Journalist Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 I dunno. Secretly I'm just praying for Bossman to be in it
Cuban Linx Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 London doesn't even make Smackdown, let alone Pay Per Views.
Si82 Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Secretly I'm just praying for Bossman to be in it Why is that?
Guest Goodear Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Bossman rules, thats why! With the brand extension, I seriously doubt you're going to see the guys that don't get on the main shows in the thing. So don't hold out hope for Ultimo, Spanky, Kanyon, or London (who has yet to have a non squash on Smackdown yet BTW). Akio and Sakoda have a better chance than those guys... shoot I would be worried about Matt Hardy myself. My Guesses? RAW 1) Booker T 2) Kane 3) Randy Orton 4) Batista 5) Ric Flair 6) Mark Henry 7) RVD 8) Bubba Ray Dudley 9) D-Von Dudley 10) Rene Dupree 12) Rob Conway 13) Chris Jericho 14) Christian 15) Matt Hardy SmackDown 1) Chris Benoit 2) Kurt Angle 3) John Cena 4) Big Show 5) Billy Gunn 6) A-Train 7) Matt Morgan 8) Shannon Moore 9) Eddie Guerrero 10) Chavo Guerrero Jr. 11) Charlie Haas 12) Shelton Benjamin 13) Chuck Palumbo 14) Johnny Stamboli 15) Nunzio With Triple H-Michaels, Brock-Holly, Rey-Tajiri and Bashams-Scottie/Rikishi in the undercard.
2GOLD Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Odds are RVD gets hurt or something in his match against Orton and does not get into the Rumble either. And I think Rico has a better shot of being in then Matt Hardy at this point. If they take out RVD then RICO will hop into his spot. Plus, I'd be shocked if they don't include Tommy Dreamer in the Rumble since they are in Philly. Possibly over Conway or Dupree.
Guest Goodear Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 That's possible although I don't see them taking RVD out of the thing since he was also a ECW guy and much bigger nationally than Dreamer. I mostly put in La Res since WWE can't seem to do a RAW taping anymore without putting Conway and Dupre on both the main show and on HEAT. I totally forgot about Steiner, Stevie Richards, Test and Heidenreich. I can't see John getting in there but weirder things have happened. The other three have a shot although I can't imagine Val and Storm getting in the thing.
Spaceman Spiff Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 No way Heidenreich makes it into the Rumble. He dropped from Raw, to Heat (and jobbing to Rico), to not even on TV. It's pretty bad when you're his size in Vince-land and can't make it on TV. Unless he makes some miraculous strides in his work ( ::snicker:: ), he won't be in the Rumble. I could maybe see Stevie sneaking in, though. They seem to be giving him a little push (insofar as 3 roll-up wins over Test is a push), so they may stick him in there.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 No way no how........and no spanky either.
Guest Fook Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 If they add a Dudleys vs Flair/Batista match on the undercard, that'll open up some slots in the rumble. If that's the case, my 15 from Raw would be: 1. Jericho 2. Christian 3. Booker T 4. RVD 5. Kane 6. Orton 7. Goldberg (if he's back) 8. Test 9. Dreamer 10. Henry 11. Dupree 12. Conway 13. Hardy 14. Steiner 15. Stevie If Goldberg's not back yet (or is not a surprise entrant), he can be replaced by any number of people (Storm, Venis, Rico, Cade, Jindrak, etc.)
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Both Guerreros have to be in it. I say with the Guerreros feud, they need to take the Bret/Owen route. Have Eddy go on a streak of eliminations til hes the only one left in the ring. Then Chavo comes out, and Eddy eliminates himself over the top rope so he doesn't have to fight his own nephew.

So WWF ignored their feud from WCW in 1998 when Eddy beat the crap out of Chavo, and then for some reason Chavo wet crazy.
Only The Strong Survive Posted January 10, 2004 Report Posted January 10, 2004 I'm guessing Goldberg's 30-day "de-activation" period also includes the Rumble...
Lil' Bitch Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 I can't wait for Rico to be in his first RR. Of course, he won't win it, but its still great!
JN News Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 I'm guessing Goldberg's 30-day "de-activation" period also includes the Rumble... Well, that sucks. I was hoping to see Bossman vs. Goldberg at the Rumble.
deancoles Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 I'm guessing Goldberg's 30-day "de-activation" period also includes the Rumble... It shouldn't when you consider the larger than normal gap between the December and january ppv.
Mystery Eskimo Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 Having watched the 92 rumble on the Flair DVD set yesterday, they could have Flair draw number 3 this year and last a while before being eliminated. That'd be fun.
iggymcfly Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 Just looking at the 30-man list, in addition to Goldberg, you also forgot Undertaker. He's all but guaranteed to be in the Rumble match. Oh, and I really hope they don't put all three members of the FBI in. That would be kind of a waste of space. In fact, I think one of them would be a waste of space.

Spaceman Spiff Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 Nobody disparages Chuck Palumbo on my watch. ::makes angry face:: Grrrr.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 If there had to be an FBI, go with Nunzio, although I think they're missing the boat with the whole gimmick as I loved the ECW FBI as presented as Wrestlepalooza '97. That's the only ECW show I have so i don't know if they changed over time.
