OldSchoolWrestling 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2004 edit:title of couse should say Corino duh BACKSTAGE INCIDENT WITH CORINO AND HART AT MLW IN ORLANDO by Mike Johnson Updated: 1/9/2004 3:27:46 PM There was a backstage incident this afternoon between Steve Corino and Teddy Hart after both arrived at the building for tonight's MLW event in Orlando, Florida. MLW management attempted to get the pair to sit down and talk to each other, in order to cool off their respective issues stemming from comments Hart made about Corino on different radio and Internet interviews following Hart's falling out with Ring of Honor in November, including challenging Corino to a shoot fight. According to several sources, when MLW put the two together this afternoon, both sides refused to budge and agree to work together. "Hart didn't want to apologize and caught an attitude, which led to Corino basically throwing his arms up at the whole situation, and storming off pissed," said the source. MLW has wanted to book a match between the two based off the buzz on the Internet but Hart, on the advise of his father, refused initally, telling MLW that Corino couldn't be trusted not to hurt him and it would "ruin his chances to go to WWE" if he was injured. Corino had promised they could work or shoot during the match, based on whatever Hart wanted. Both men are still scheduled for tonight's MLW return to Orlando, Florida at Tabu. 1wrestling.com

JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 Tonight's show should be pretty good, hopefully some results will be in before the end of the night. I'm very interested in seeing who Dark Fuego is and how good Homicide vs. Low Ki is.

I do too, like if Corino would stretch Teddy's bitch ass. I'm not saying that Teddy hasn't caused trouble, but Corino should be professional enough not to do something to get him in trouble. Stretching or working stiff isn't bad, but if he seriously tries to hurt him to prove a point. Corino is too talented to do something that will hurt his career/get a bad reputation. Teddy, on the other hand, shouldn't do anything that will futher blackball him from North American wrestling promoters.

syxx2001 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 Both are acting like bitches. Life is too short to hold grudges and its probably some bullshit like Hart sneezing during a match or something. Geez Corino, give it up already. You too Teddy. Shake hands, go in the ring, and fight. Shit if Bischoff and McMahon can do it, why cant these fuckers do it? Scroby 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 What it sounds like to me is that Corino was trying to be professional about it and trying to come to terms but Hard was being spoiled and wanted to get his way. What did Hart do to get blackballed through? I never heard the excat reason why.

What did Hart do to get blackballed through? I never heard the excat reason why. both sides refused to budge and agree to work together If Corino isn't going to be proffesional, the blame shouldn't ALL be put on Hart. Teddy actually has a point...what's to stop Corino breaking his arm if they get booked in a match? It sure as hell wouldn't surprise me. Not 100% certain, but the reason was Hart pissed a LOT of people off during a ROH show. After that Scramble Cage Match, he decided to steal the Backseat Boyz's(who won the match) thunder, for whatever reason. After the match, he dove off the Cage onto one of the teams (The SAT I think), which they weren't prepared for. So Teddy was lucky not to cripple himself basically. The crowd obviously loved it all, so he kept doing backflips from the cage. Everyone backstage was mad though. Gabe wanted to resolve it, but Hart made the dumb move and refused to apologise. So he got thrown out, and ROH won't book him again. Corino was outspoken on the situation, as was CM Punk, and since then it's become petty. Punk calls Hart an 'anus' because of his real last name, and his fans act as if Punk is some sort of messiah. That sort of thing.

Guest Ghettoman Report post Posted January 10, 2004 I don't care if it's Hitler calling Teddy on his shit, I'm still not taking Teddy's side. Egotistical, peice of shit worker, who's naturally talented as an athlete, and not a pro wrestler. I really wouldn't mind watching Cornio drop him on his head, hopefully the brush with death would work some sense into his head.

Guest Dids Report post Posted January 10, 2004 -Teddy Hart over Bryan Danielson (Teddy Hart starts doing flips off the turnbuckles post-match, and Danielson beats him to the back) Wait a 'sec. Do we know if Danielson was shooting or not? And is Bryan Danielson different from Brian "American Dragon" Danielson? Seems like an odd matchup for Teddy. Guest Ghettoman Report post Posted January 10, 2004 Corino at least has a mind for the business, and if he didn't it wouldn't be as bad because he doesn't go around pimping himself as the best wrestler there is. Teddy just doesn't get it. It's like he's running three miles a day because he's training to be a fisherman.

Do we know if Danielson was shooting or not? And is Bryan Danielson different from Brian "American Dragon" Danielson? Seems like an odd matchup for Teddy. Bryan Danielson = American Dragon. And with that, odds are they're playing off of Teddy's odd fascination with flipping off shit at the end of his matches.

Michrome 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 The Danielson thing was a work of course. The fact that Teddy Hart went over Bryan Danielson is enough for me to boycott MLW. Teddy Fucking Hart over American Dragon? That's ridiculous.
Guest DeathBecomesYou Report post Posted January 10, 2004 This whole thing is starting to be a bit sad really. If this whole Teddy Hart situation is for real, I only hope that he doesn't fuck up anyone else's career as well. I've heard that Jack Evan's isn't welcome back in ROH because of his friendship with Hart, and with other Stampede guys like TJ Wilson and Harry Smith as well trying to make their names, I just hope all the Stampede guys don't get tarred with the same brush as Teddy. Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 Why did Teddy challenge Punk and Corino to shoot fights if he is too afraid to do a worked fight with them? Do you how easy it'd be for the two to start a worked match in cooperation with each other, then get brought down in a worked armbar, and soon enough, have it pulled out of it's socket? r4g 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 THIS IS A WORK AND A PATHETIC ATTEMPT TO CREATE INTEREST IN THE UPCOMING CORINO/HART MATCH Hart won to build him up, and then did the "shoot" with Dragon to solidify him as a loose cannon. Seriously, you people can't be this stupid. After all the "shoots" ROH has put us through, you honestly think this whole thing is REAL? How CONVIENENT the story just HAPPENS to break in enough time to create buzz for the weekend's shows. Now wait as Corino/Hart "agree to work together" with magically JUST enough time to give it proper promotion. Ignore Bob Magee, he's a troll and has no idea what he's talking about. *Sigh*
Guest TDinDC1112 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 Does Corino's ridiculous dependence on blading make him a pro wrestler? Does Harts ridiculous dependence on backflips and bad attitude make him a wrestler. The backflips and attitude have nothing to do with his wrestling during a match.
