Guest edge007 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Yeah actually that's another one....A View To A Kill was pretty good
Si82 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 I always liked "Live and Let Die" as well as "A View to a Kill" and "The Living Daylights". I also liked "Surrender" which was played over the closing credits of "Tomorrow Never Dies" much better than the actual theme song for that one.
Hektik 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 I like the old instrumental theme songs better, so I will have to go with From Russia With Love and On Her Majestys Secret Service. If I had to pick a theme song with words then I will go with Live and Let Die.

WrestlingDeacon 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 There are words to From Russia with Love. Sinatra sings it. I love Thunderball by Tom Jones. The worst is All Time High from Octopussy.
Hektik 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 There are words to From Russia with Love. Sinatra sings it. I thought we were talking about the the songs that plays in the opening credits. In From Russia With love there is a song that plays in the opening credits (after the pre title sequence) that is an intrumental that is still used today. The song you are talking about plays at the end of the movie.
Anya 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 It's not Sinatra either. I like a bunch, but I'd go with Nobody does it better.

The song you are talking about plays at the end of the movie. Oh, sorry about that. I thought we were just talking movie themes in general from the films. Thanks for the correction. And yes it is Sinatra, because I have it downloaded on my computer and I got it from a site that had the single cover of Sinatra in the studio recording it. And for some reason I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Moonraker theme too. Edited January 16, 2004 by WrestlingDeacon
WrestlingDeacon 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Ok, just did some quick research. Apparently the theme in the movie and that appears on the soundtrack album is by a guy named Matt Munro, who sounds a lot like Sinatra. The place I got it from had it mislabeled and I never listened to it that closely. So my bad, thanks. I'd have to go back and try to find that site again to see what the cover of him is from, because I swear they had an album cover of Sinatra in the studio recording it with the song. pochorenella 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Live and Let Die is my favorite. I liked A View To A kill in the beginning but I've grown tired of it in recent years. Of the Pierce Brosnan era, I really like The World Is Not Enough.
starvenger 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 The worst is All Time High from Octopussy. Man, if something is worse than "Die Another Day" then I HAVE to hear it...
Si82 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 The worst is All Time High from Octopussy. Man, if something is worse than "Die Another Day" then I HAVE to hear it... I don't think anything could be worse than "Die Another Day", that song was so just so crap. I mean "All Time High" isn't good but it's certainly not worse than "Die Another Day". What made them think that was a good song?
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted January 16, 2004 And for some reason I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Moonraker theme too. Because it's so deliciously cheesy?

WrestlingDeacon 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 And for some reason I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Moonraker theme too. Because it's so deliciously cheesy? Maybe that's it. I think they tried to do a similar thing with All Time High, but it was just too bad. And I personally don't find Die Another Day to be all that bad. I don't find it good, but All Time High is one of the gayest and generic songs I've ever heard.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Apart from the themes for OHMSS, LALD, YOLT, TLD, AVTAK, and GE. I like the James Bond Theme itself, the 007 Alternate theme, and "We Have all the Time in the World."
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted January 16, 2004 FRWL as appears in the film was sung by Matt Munro, not Frank Sinatra. YOLT was sung by Nacy Sinatra, however.
