Guest El Satanico Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 The Spongebob movie is on my list somewhere, but it's not something I'd go out of my way for.
Guest OctoberBlood Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Too many to list. Theres ALOT of good movies this year. Gonna be a good one.
MrRant Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 No SAW?!?! I'm ashamed of you El Satanico.
Guest El Satanico Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Well yeah I want to see Saw too, but there's no telling if it'll even be released in 2004.

MrRant Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Well yeah I want to see Saw too, but there's no telling if it'll even be released in 2004. Speaking of Saw... I just posted some more information on Saw at Scorror.com including the proposed release time and a little more background on why it is called "Saw".
the max Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Sigh........... No Lord of the Rings movie to look forward to this year. Maybe not, but at least you can look forward to the Super Extra Long Extendo Extremo Mega Collosal Full Lord of the Rings DVD collector set and with the extra footage, it'll most likely feel like a new movie in of itself.
treble Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Miracle is about the only thing that sticks out to me.
Corey_Lazarus Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 The following movies that are to be released in 2004 have my interest: Glamorama Aliens vs. Predator Spider-Man 2 Resident Evil: Apocalypse Dawn Of The Dead '04

Here we go... - Troy - Alexander - Van Helsing - The Day After Tomorrow - Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow - The Aviator - Spider-Man 2 - The Incredibles - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - Kill Bill Volume 2 - Meet the Fockers - Ocean's Twelve - The Bourne Supremacy - Dawn of the Dead - The Girl Next Door - King Arthur - I, Robot - Man On Fire - The Punisher - Starsky and Hutch - Shrek 2 - Walking Tall Just to name a few
Vyce Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 I'm down with: Van Helsing Hellboy Spiderman 2 Aliens Vs. Predator Troy Sky Captain and The World Of Tomorrow (just saw the trailer for this - I can't imagine it'll be a hit, but it looks cool) Man-Thing (Marvel made a Man-Thing movie?!?!?!) The Punisher The Chronicles Of Riddick (I really, really dug Pitch Black - I saw it in the theater when it opened, and pimped it to all my friends long before Vin Diesel became Hollywood It boy.) Blade: Trinity Dawn of the Dead (I generally hate remakes, but the trailer looked interesting) The Passion of Christ (FINALLY, they release this) Possibles: The Butterfly Effect (I'm torn about this one - it has Kutcher in it, but I saw the extended trailer the other day and it looked like it had promise.....one of you will have to recommend it to me. ) Resident Evil: Apocalypse (didn't see the first one, but Milla Jovovich = definite viewing somewhere down the road) The Alamo Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (didn't see the first two, but maybe I should start)
Guest El Satanico Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Man-Thing (Marvel made a Man-Thing movie?!?!?!) I saw it on IMDB's 2004 release schedule, but that was the first I've heard of it.
MrRant Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Man-Thing (Marvel made a Man-Thing movie?!?!?!) I saw it on IMDB's 2004 release schedule, but that was the first I've heard of it. I DEMAND you add Saw since it is supposed to be released in 2004. DEMAND IT.
Guest wrestlingbs Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Kill Bill, Vol. 2 Aliens vs. Predator Spiderman 2 Shrek 2 Troy And, after seeing the preview... Dawn of the Dead
spiny norman Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 I think Harry Potter is my most anticipated film of the year at this moment (though Troy is up there, my ancient history teacher went to school with Rose Byrne who plays Briseis) as it was the third book with which they began their awesomeness. Add a great director and I think it has the possible makings of a great film, and a good replacement for LOTR. At any rate, as previous years have proven, the best movies of the year generally are those which aren't so eagerly anticipated so many months before their release. (Note I said generally).
Lil' Bitch Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 I definitely gotta go with: Kill Bill 2 Spiderman 2 Aliens Vs. Predator The Punisher Resident Evil: Apocalypse Blade: Trinity And I might see: Troy Shrek 2 The Butterfly Effect Window Theory Sigh........... No Lord of the Rings movie to look forward to this year. True, but there's always The Hobbit if they ever decide to make it.
spiny norman Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 And King Kong is just coming up. This thread inspired me to go to IMDB and see what upcoming films we were to expect in 2004. We have a new most anticipated: Footloose: The Remake.
Henry Spencer Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 The Passion of Christ (FINALLY, they release this) Ah, forgot about that one. I'll probably end up seeing it as well.
Si82 Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Here's my list: Starsky & Hutch Dawn of the Dead The Passion of the Christ Shaun of the Dead Hellboy 50 First Dates Eurotrip The Punisher Van Helsing The Day After Tomorrow Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Around the World in Eighty Days Shrek 2 Spider-Man 2 Garfield: The Movie The Chronicles of Riddick The Ladykillers The Bourne Supremacy Shark Tale The Magic Roundabout Movie Alien Vs. Predator Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason The Incredibles Walking Tall Blade: Trinity Resident Evil: Apocalypse Ocean's Twelve Meet the Fockers
Guest El Satanico Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 And King Kong is just coming up. That won't be until at least 2005
Guest El Satanico Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 I forgot all about the rerelease of Godzilla in it's original form without the editing they did for it's original American release. It'll be released in Spring/Summer and I believe it will be a Limited Release.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 It starts and ends with Kill Bill Vol.2
k thx Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Hauru No Ugoku Shiro, Dogville and an English version of Battle Royale 2 all have my interest.
Guest JumpinJackFlash Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 The only two movies I'm looking forward to are Kill Bill Volume 2, and recently, Hellboy. That looks freaky. Everything else will probably suck, especially the sequels. No Macho Man in Spiderman 2=No Spiderman worth seeing
Secret Agent Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Ocean's Twelve - You guys have to be kidding about this one. Also, isn't HHH in Blade: Trinity?
