EdwardKnoxII Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Hulk Hogan Set For Jimmy Kimmel This Week Which promotion will he talk about? Hulk Hogan is set to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live this Thursday. It will be interesting to see which promotion Hogan talks about. Right now his association with TNA seems to be close to dead, Jimmy Hart is telling people he and Hogan want to start a new promotion, and rumor has it that Hogan is pushing to get into WrestleMania XX. At last report, Vince McMahon has not closed the door yet on Hogan appearing at the big show. Jimmy Kimmel airs late night on ABC.
Lil' Bitch Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 He's gonna throw his hat into the presidential race again.
Mole Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 I am sick of this Jimmy Hart promotion shit. Who would he have on his promotion? All of the top talent are either in TNA or WWE, there is no one who he could sign. Actually he could sign Nash, Hall, Jack Roberts, HTM.....oh wait, they don't have talent.
Guest Coffey Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 My interest is high. I'll watch assuming something doesn't come up.
Guest Krazy Karter Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Jimmy Kimmel is the kind of guy that asks his guests stuff they never, ever want to be asked. I'm predicting a steroid joke.

Don't forget, Beefcake, the Nasty Boys and Hacksaw.
geniusMoment Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 I wonder if he will wear a bandana to cover up that bald head. The glare coming off that melon might blind the first couple of rows. --PANTIES
Guest FrigidSoul Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Scott Hall when sober is still one of the best wrestlers today. He can put somebody over quite easily.
Lil' Bitch Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 In all seriousness though, if Hogan can come back for WM 20 and work the dream match with Austin, I would gladly pay for the PPV just to see it. It would be my biggest mark-out time ever and it would be perfect for a double retirement match.
Guest JMA Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 In all seriousness though, if Hogan can come back for WM 20 and work the dream match with Austin, I would gladly pay for the PPV just to see it. It would be my biggest mark-out time ever and it would be perfect for a double retirement match. That WOULD be awesome. It would indeed be awesome. But only in a Rock/Hogan kinda way. Then again nobody watches a Hogan match for workrate do they?
Dobbs 3K Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 That is a neat idea...Hogan vs Austin...battle of the two biggest draws in WWF history. However, can Austin really work anymore? Isn't his back/neck too messed up? Plus...who would do the job? It would probably end up being a double DQ or something.
Mole Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Scott Hall when sober is still one of the best wrestlers today. He can put somebody over quite easily. What? Scott Hall is one of the best workers today? Are you mad? I could name a dozen better workers than Hall.

Yeah, like it would actually result in even a SINGLE retirement...neither of those two will retire, until they are handicapped human vegetables, or dead.
Guest Deebo Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 I wonder if Cousin Sal will challenge him to a pillow fight.
Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Instead of doing Austin vs Hogan - which at this point would be horrible, and split the crowd, I propose Austin/Hogan vs Vince/Eric B. Let the faces beat the Holy Hell out of the heels, pop the crowd like crazy, both heels gig...after 6 mins or so Vince/Eric get Coachman to interfere, allowing them to take the upper hand via international objects or whatever...after a 2-3 min heat session the the faces...Steffi's music hits (This is the WWE's way of booking, and you know it!) and makes her return. She low blows Eric out of the ring... tosses Austin a beer that he downs and "powers up" Popeye like from...Vince eats a Stunner...Hogan hits the Leg drop 1..2...3... Crowd is popping like mad. WM moment.
AndrewTS Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Which promotion will he talk about? The XWF2 or whatever they're supposed to be calling the rumored one he's going to start with Bret?
The Mandarin Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Reminder: It's tonight, just in case someone was planning on watching it. Although nobody reminded me about Bob Sapp on Kimmel last time.
Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Super Dave was a cohost in the past, correct?
Guest Deebo Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Super Dave has been a co-host 2 times already before this, I believe. He along with Adam Carolla is who they get when they can't book anyone else to do it.
Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Roid Child bothers me... Hogan and the Kid are gonna have a posedown me thinks....
Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Hogan mentioned no federations... and looked less tone than I'm accustomed to
Jobber of the Week Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Roid Child bothers me... Hogan and the Kid are gonna have a posedown me thinks.... I'm not sure if it was right for me to admire this or not.
Guest sean pyro Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Did anything notable take place?
