Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 http://www.thewmurchannel.com/news/2775269/detail.html NASHUA, N.H. -- For police, the arrest was as easy as taking candy from a baby. Police in Nashua Sunday arrested a 19-year-old Cumberland, R.I., man they say walked up to a 7-year-old girl in a mall pet store and took a $2 bag of candy from her. He soon left it on a counter. The girl's mother alerted police, who identified Thomas Kane with security cameras and caught him sitting in the food court. Police said Kane admitted taking the candy but said it was part of a scavenger hunt. Kane was charged with misdemeanor theft. Now, the headline is funny enough, but what's even funnier is that Thom's one of my friends, in fact, he graduated high school with me.

spiny norman 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 That's a horrible thing to do. The poor kid. I could kill two birds with one stone literally. But it's not something I could bring myself moralistically to do. Sorry, I'm an annoying do-gooder and I shall leave this thread. But I think such an act is wrong. kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 (edited) That's a horrible thing to do. The poor kid. I could kill two birds with one stone literally. But it's not something I could bring myself moralistically to do. Sorry, I'm an annoying do-gooder and I shall leave this thread. But I think such an act is wrong. When I was a kid I used to take a dollar or two from the kid's collection plate that was passed around during Sunday School. I would then go to the local Dairy Mart and buy pop and candy. And people wondered why I could never sit still during the sermons. I wasn't stealing -- I was helping the local economy... Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Atta boy. Believe me, that dollar was spent better than it would've been on creepy pastel jesuses and lambs for the sunday school.
Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Taking from the collection plate is one of my lifelong goals. The bounty in Catholic Churches is even better now because they make the parishoners give a 5 dollar minimum in a envelope with your name on it. 3 or 4 envelopes and you can pick up a new Slayer CD, or something along those lines. Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 He graduated with you, eh? And I thought it was just the LaSalle chicks that were mental . Everybody from my graduating class has turned into a fucking psychopath. So far, since graduating we've had: -Thom stealing -A kid getting engaged to his online girlfriend who resides in Seattle,WA -A kid almost getting his thumb hacked off in a dispute with his girlfriend -Incarceration (Herlin Perry, of the (in)famous Perry bros.) -Bottle to the head in a drug deal gone mad -A pregnancy -And I somehow turned into an alcoholic. LaSalle is fucking bonkers, Zack. And I don't think anyone on this board will even understand this post.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 You're telling me that school is bonkers. I realized that when I used to hang there while waiting for the various friends/girlfriends I've had from there to get their shit out of their lockers. As for everyone in the class, I remember you saying that you graduated with my sis' friend Kayla, who practically grew up in my house. Hopefully she hasn't gone psycho, heh. We're gonna have to meet up and trade stories sometime, considering you're about five minutes from my house.
