Spicy McHaggis Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 I need advice on some good games.
Thoth Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Depends on if you plan to get Xbox Live or not. What genres interest you? Halo is a name that pops up, so is Knights of the Old Republic. I also recommend Project Gotham Racing 2, Capcom VS SNK 2... but if you get Live, take a look at the Live-enabled games. All of those games, sans Halo, support Live in some way. Deus Ex: Invisible War... Outlaw Volleyball is on the cheap, now, too. Soul Calibur 2, if you like shitty fighting games. AND METAL SLUG 3 IS COMING TO XBOX AND SO IS SVC CHAOS AND SO IS GUILTY GEAR XX#RELOAD OH MY FUCKING GOD AND THEY'LL BE ON LIVE I SHIT MY PANTS
Renegade Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 SVC live sounds sucky. You cant go wrong Panzer Dragoon, awesome game.
Spicy McHaggis Posted January 26, 2004 Author Report Posted January 26, 2004 I like sports games mostly but I could get into Project Gotham... I've heard of KOTOR but I'm not into RPG's at all. What are some games that highlight XBox as a system? I'm also looking for games that a bunch of people could play together... EDIT: No Xbox Live.
Karnage Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 Shenmue II. Jet Set Radio Future. Amped 2. GTA Double Pack. And multi platform releases are always best on XBOX...well except EA games which have online play on PS2.
razazteca Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 Make sure you get one of the package deals that comes with games. I suggest the GTA and Star Wars one.
Spicy McHaggis Posted January 27, 2004 Author Report Posted January 27, 2004 Is there anything new in the XBox versions of GTA?
Thoth Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 Unless you have dial-up, I seriously think you should consider Xbox Live, it is teh fun.
Red Baron Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 If getting an X-box, I would really suggest Tony Hawk Underground, and Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and the Prince of Persia/Splinter Cell package.
