SpikeFayeJettEdBebop Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Topic. Also, if you have proof, then thanks, if not, then its cool.
The Amazing Rando Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Joan Osbourne and it's "was one of us" EDIT: For this, and all other "i can't remember who sings THIS?" questions...please refer to Allmusic.com
Guest mesepher Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 So is she related to Kelly & Jack? no
Slayer Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Some one hit wonder chick with a nose ring
spiny norman Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Actually, it was called "One Of Us", not "Was One Of Us". There was an awesome cover of it by Prince. I recommend all and any to download it or find some means of listening to it, as it absolutely creams the original.
The Amazing Rando Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 i meant... in his title... he wrote "Were One of Us" ...and I was stating that it was "Was" ...and just cutting out the rest for no discernable reason. There is also the somewhat comedic "What if God Smoked Cannibus" that floats around the internet.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 I dont venture into the music folder often. I have the CD that song is on. Now you know why I don't venture into the music folder that often. *leaves for another 3 years*
1234-5678 Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Either the way, the song is crap. Blubber passed off as art. No thank you.
godthedog Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 osborne also had a GREAT single released from that same album, "st teresa." got almost no radio airplay, played maybe once on mtv, but far & away one of my favorite songs from that time period.
Guest Krazy Karter Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 That song was cool when I was in 5th grade. I had this CD-ROM with the video on it and all the girls thought it was cool. I was not cool.

It's found on the three-disc Emancipation album, but ignore that abortion. The "One of Us" cover is all you need.
