Actually, it was called "One Of Us", not "Was One Of Us".

 

There was an awesome cover of it by Prince. I recommend all and any to download it or find some means of listening to it, as it absolutely creams the original.

i meant... in his title... he wrote "Were One of Us" ...and I was stating that it was "Was" ...and just cutting out the rest for no discernable reason.

osborne also had a GREAT single released from that same album, "st teresa." got almost no radio airplay, played maybe once on mtv, but far & away one of my favorite songs from that time period.

He's right. It's found on the three-disc Emancipation album, but ignore that abortion. The "One of Us" cover is all you need.
