Guest Repo Man Reborn Report post Posted February 3, 2004 It is SO easy to hate on wrestlers who hold others down, mess up constantly or just basically suck. I am throwing down the gauntlet and daring you people to come up with good points (however few they are) about wrestlers who are infamous within the internet wrestling community. You know the lineup: HHH HBK Orton Bradshaw A-Train Big Show And anyone else you can think of.......... This thread is all about positivity. Let's begin. Triple H is willing to work with anybody. You know the lineup: HHH HBK Orton Bradshaw A-Train Big Show And anyone else you can think of.......... This thread is all about positivity. Let's begin. Triple H is willing to work with anybody. HHH is actually underrated as a wrestler. HBK can be pretty entertaining Orton doesn't have a bad dropkick Bradshaw has that nice Razor Ramon slam off the middle rope A-Train has some of the coolest offence in the WWE, if not the coolest, isn't afraid to take stiff shots, tries hard, has a good sense of what he's doing in the ring and has had an array of good matches with different wrestlers. Doesn't even come close to deserving the criticism he deserves. Big Show is also underrated.
OldSchoolWrestling 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Bradshaw's clothesline from hell looks like it hurts, and probably does.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Bradshaw - nice lariat, nice big boot, nice shoulderblock, stiff, good on the mic A-Train - best moveset in the WWE

Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 HHH - has good matches (usually) w/ HBK HBK - bumps & sells great (well, up until he kips up) Orton - seems to be improving Bradshaw - nice clothesline A-Train - good agility for a big man, decent grasp of psychology, willing to job to pretty much anybody Big Show - great charisma & mic skills, has been busting his ass since moving to SD Mark Henry - "Chocolate Moose" is a cool move, although he really doesn't use it much any more Batista - decent on the mic (better than Orton)
Guest JMA Report post Posted February 3, 2004 HHH - GREAT wrestler in 2000. Still can work a good match if he tries. Has more heat than some people claim. HBK - Probably the best worker on RAW besides Benoit. Still good at bumping around the ring. Orton - Um...I'm indifferent to Orton. I have nothing good or bad to say about him. Bradshaw - Pass. Okay...I do like his stiff style. That's about it, though. A-Train - Very underrated. Can do the monster gimmick well and doesn't mess up in the ring much. Also has a unique look. Big Show - Much better worker now. World Wrestling has finally brought him back up to Upper Midcarder/Main Eventer. Mark Henry - I like his pairing with Long. I think they work well together. Awesome power wrestler, but still needs to learn his way around a ring.
Guest Repo Man Reborn Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Billy Gunn was really over at one time in the gay community.
Guest BionicRedneck Report post Posted February 3, 2004 HHH- Has cool music HBK- Bleeds good! Orton- good at looking scared while Foley goes nuts Bradshaw- Teams with Simmons, who used to be pals with Barry Windham. BW ruled. A-Train- Match with Benoit was kinda good. Big Show- Spot where he broke the ring was cool.
Guest Repo Man Reborn Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Stephanie McMahon - I have really enjoyed her angle over the past few months. HBK - Really good at modeling jeans for 15 year old girls.
eiker_ir 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 - HBK: one of Raw's best workers, with Y2J & Benoit - Orton: nice European Uppercut - Bradshaw: nice lariat - A-Train: pretty cool moveset - Big Show: improved ALOT in the past year
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Judging from the first few posts, this probably wasn't a serious thread...just an excuse for half hearted jokes...but, what the hell... HHH- Obviously enjoys being at the top, decent on the mic, can put on a good match when he wants to, he's the top heel on Raw. HBK- Still awesome to watch, will bleed for fun, willing to work with youngsters, more company orientated than he used to be. Orton- Potential to be better than he is, with a little work could be the next big thing, willing to sell for anyone, his reactions to Foley have been spot on, not the worst talker ever, brings value to the IC Title. Bradshaw- Nice clothesline. A-Train- Underrated by many, great moveset, can be carried to rock solid matches, reportedly a nice guy and obviously doesn't have an ego problem. Big Show- Charismatic, mainstream appeal(back in 2000, when the mainstream actually liked the WWF), certainly carriable, brings effort into his matches, desire to improve hismelf in the past year. Batista- Good talker, has 'the look', impressive power moves, doesn't totally bore me. Henry- Good comedy guy, legit powerful, WSM moniker could be used to promote wrestling, desire to loose weight when asked. Taker- Awesome last year, over with the masses, his MMA style is interesting and makes a change for someone his size, more willing to put people over, still an awesome promo. Vince- Awesome character, made wrestling popular etc, still over, great for a promo. Shane- Entertaining spots. Steph- She's not around at the moment, doesn't talk as squeakily as before. Ernest Miller- He can dance well. Yes, that was serious. I couldn't think of anything else. Lamont- Willing to degrade hismelf for a laugh, entertaining in that 'kill that annoying fuck' way ala Jimmy Hart, his Rumble elimination will probably be my highlight of the year. Guest Repo Man Reborn Report post Posted February 3, 2004 King Cuccaracha didn't judge my thread too much. Spike Dudley never met a bump he didin't take.
Guest KJ Brackish Report post Posted February 3, 2004 HHH - He puts most of his effort into his matches and gets great heat as a heel. HBK - Like Ric Flair, at an upper age, can still get the job done and has a TON of stamina. Can put on a great show like not many can now-a-days. Orton - Entertaining, and is lessening on his botching. When working with the right wrestlers (HBK and Foley).... Randy can put on a good show. Bradshaw - Great powerhouse of a wrestler. Works pretty well with wrestlers (in and out of character (minus the hazing rumors :-D)) A-Train - Since watching him this past Thursday, I can honestly say that this guy has improved 5 fold since I last saw him (I don't watch smackdown). I would nominate this guy for most improved wrestler and next being Orton. Big Show - This guy can make you laugh till ya cry (with some of his faces and antics) or he can make you shudder in disgust. DFA
Guest GreatMuta Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Kevin Nash got injured without taking a bump, and it was proabilly the fastest injury ever scene. And he was the death of the WWE NWO
justcoz 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 HHH: plays a great heel, great worker before quad injury/still a good worker, portrays a very good champion, makes the title belt seem important and doesn't treat it like an ornament, his hero worship of Ric Flair has probably given Flair the "final run" WCW weren't going to give him, tries to bring back old school elements to his mic/in ring work - long title runs and a dominating champion is unfortunately part of that... HBK: One of the greatest workers and bumpers ever, very good at telling stories in his matches, very believable mic work, seems to have his ego in check since finding Jesus, always looks to top his last performance, went into his comeback full force and is almost back to his old level performance wise... Orton: looks like a star, catches the attention of female channel surfers, seems to be trying very hard to bust his ass and prove something and probably knows very well that he's being pushed too hard/too soon, great facial expressions (see the Foley interview, the look on his face was priceless), great heel mannerisms, will only get better if he can avoid injury... Bradshaw: stiff and comes across as a legit badass who can hurt you, very funny on the mic and skits, connects with the typical WWE Male viewer, represents the company very well with his financial analysis ability and tv appearances in that forum, knows his stuff and doesn't come off like a dumb hick, could have probably been the next Stan Hanson if it weren't for bad gimmicks/angles... A-Train: unique look, awesome and very underrated move set and offense, great old school shtick on the mic, would have been a CLASSIC heel challenging Hogan in the 80's, seems to be willing to learn and a student of the game, will job to smaller guys... Big Show: did very well last year despite criticism of his push, can effectively tell a story in his matches (see Rumble) and his mic work (see recent work with Brock), will job and sell to small guys, has overcome some terrible angles from WWF/E creative department, funny, funny guy - company never took advantage of his humor after the SNL performance Batista: AWESOME look, very good on the mic... Billy Gunn: not a bad worker, victim of some horrendous ideas from creative, good on the mic, could be a top star again without the Mr. Ass tag/song, should have been brought back in as Bad Ass Billy Gunn, would like to see him in NWATNA... Zach Gowen: The guy wrestles hopping on one leg when I couldn't on two legs, disappointed that they haven't brought him back in as a heel, good on the stick, good acting skills, could really make the heel gimmick work, takes insane bumps... LISTEN TO THE PITTSBURGH MUSIC SCENE...
Highland 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 HHH: Student of the game. I know it's cliched, but the man studies videos and by all accounts truly loves the business, and not just because he's married to Vince's daughter. If he wasn't wrestling he'd be on this board with the rest of the smarks. HBK: No on bumps better, until he decides to kip up. Also in unbelievable shape. Orton: Slowly improving and drawing heat (quiet AS), backstage seems willing to learn and improve in all aspects. Bradshaw: I'm indifferent to him, though his clothesline from hell still makes me mark out. Big Show: Will do anything. Vastly underrated and mistreated, especially by alot of smarks. When is the last time you heard him refusing an angle or gimmick? A-Train: Varies his offense and is quite good in the ring, I think his appearance blinds most to his inring abilities. Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 HHH- Will die eventually. HBK- See: HHH. Orton- Improving each show, even if they're small improvements. Bradshaw- Sweet lariat and boot, though his Yankee jingoist attitude knocks him down a few pegs. A-Train- Killer moveset, not afraid to bump, more over then people would think. Big Show- Nice clothesline, carryable, underrated on the mic. (THERE! I SAID IT!)
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 HHH - He is still great at getting people to hate him. HBK - He's not crippled...yet. Orton - He's improving, both in the ring and on the mic. Bradshaw - This one is tough. He makes a good partner for the more charismatic Simmons. A-Train - Great power moves. Underrated. Big Show - I've actually liked him ever since he moved to Smackdown. I have no problem with him.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 Orton: Does an amazing young Lex Luger impression. HHH: Not afraid to let his gut hang out even when in the spotlight, married a woman who can be attractive. Batista: Has a great monster look and just needs a finisher change.
