AndrewTS Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 *WWE World champion Triple H pinned Chris Benoit. Benoit was able to hit three German Suplexes in succession and hit his swan dive headbutt off the top rope, but Helmsley kicked out at 2. Helmsley scored the pin clean with a Pedigree. Probably practicing the Mania finish. No, the Mania finish will include a Crossface reversal, kicking out after three headbutts, and a Pedigree with a long delay on the pin.

Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Wow... The Rock's Sharpshooter is better then that.
Kardo Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Well maybe he had to take special care applying the sharpshooter with Mr. Quad Tear...
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Well maybe he had to take special care applying the sharpshooter with Mr. Quad Tear... Why? The SS hurts the lower back, the Quadreceps aren't that affected by it.
Guest Choken One Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 But he is still lifting the leg nontheless, so that still likely adds stress to the quads.
Guest Anglesault Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Wow... The Rock's Sharpshooter is better then that. Good Lord, that is Rock's Sharpshooter.
Guest Choken One Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 because of how bad it is, I naturally assume it was Orton and not Benoit
Guest wildpegasus Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 The sharpshooter is a good one. HHH is a lot bigger than Benoit. Rock's is a lot worse. He stands up in it. And yes, the sharpshooter does affect the legs. That's a fact.

Then again, I doubt anyone on the Benoit arguement took into account the length of matches and obviously the length of travel time they took... ...so, it'll be Orton's fault.
CanadianChick Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 On a related note to the Benoit Sharpshooter, Jericho's WOJ on Orton looks pretty weak. The Walls have looked weak for awhile. The last time they really looked good was during the Alliance era. After he won the Title though, the WOJ was just a Boston Crab.

Plus the WWE for whatever reasons has acquired a lot of wrestlers that aren't as flexable as wrestlers in other leagues.
