Enigma 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 Was your friend drinking at the show? Considering he had to drive home, I think it's safe to say he wasn't.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted February 8, 2004 Orton = Fire him now. Eddie = Story is most likely not true. It's really hard to ignore these sort of things. We had pictures with Orton. And he doesn't have 1/1000 of the talent ot heat or skill of Eddie, so of course Eddie gets the BotD. Fair or not, (probably not) we're willing to give the talented people more leeway And by all accounts Jindrak did more then ask him for an autograph. What did he supposedly do? I don't recall precisely, but I think it was because Jindrak was angry at some spots in the Evolution/Team MaveKick six man match earlier that night? That'd be my best guess. and you do realize the whole fucking thing was a joke from those two... ONCE AGAIN a case of IWC over reacting to bullshit. Seriously, The IWC is so fucking fickle and gullible No, in this case the two of them starting a fight in a restaurant to work us is a case of backtracking... or an incredible immaturity on their part. There were police present at the restaurant if I remember correctly. Yeah....to play along in the joke. Didn't Orton even admit on a radio show or something that the whole thing was a prank? I wish I could live in a city where police have nothing better to do then particpate in pranks to rib the IWC.

Yeah, but that's probobly because of the insanely rediculous outfits Orton and Jindrak were wearing and because both of them looked drunk out of their minds. And because they get to tell their kids they met wrestlers tonight.

snuffbox 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 damn...if you kids cant deal with reputations affecting the life of a pro wrestler without whining about it...ya'll are gonna have some serious probs in the future. it happens to everyone...you, me, eddy, everyone. and it always will. thats how peoples minds tend to work. and my first post here...'eds drinking again...cheers smiley' was a joke...and i agreed with a guy that said his attitude MIGHT be a problem. and i defended my 'your rep precedes you' post. NYU 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 Jindrak on the radio show "Get in the Ring" dated from late November 2003. -Talk turns to how Jindrak and Randy Orton played a prank on internet wrestling fans. He details a war of words going back and forth between the two on their respective websites. Mark posted that Randy “can’t treat his friends the way he treats his fans.” And then made a comment about all “his little girl-fans” to which Orton responded. This got the internet community talking and Orton and Jindrak felt that they could go even farther with this fake feud. The basis of this “feud” was that “wrestling fans will believe anything”, after the RAW in Boston Orton and Jindrak started a fake physical fight at Kowloons restaurant. They got the Boston policemen involved as they separated the two of them, “to tell you the truth my adrenaline started rushing, it felt so real. People were really in shock, they were taking pictures. What gave it away was the cops started laughing a little.” Sir Adam gives Mark another idea using the MTV Punk’d show as a model that Garrison and Jindrak should be practical jokers. GIR Radio gives two solid ideas to Jindrak! Jindrak continues the story saying that outside of Kowloons people seemed to be shocked at Jindrak and Orton were screaming at each other. Maven pulled his car around and Mark got in as the police “escorted” Orton away. Just as Mark was talking to Maven saying “I think they bought it” Randy grabs Mark through the window and the “brawl” started up again. “It was perfect…Maven was great he walked over to Orton and screamed at Randy ‘Mark’s your friend man!’ and they started going at it, it turned into a three stooges thing after a while. It was wild”. It was a fake. In fact, here is the link to the thread talking about the radio show. Jindrak's Interview Now can we move on from this?

haVoc 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 The police were called to escort them from the bar/club because of the fans around. "Famous" folks do that so they won't get mobbed. Since the police were there they played along. I wish I could live in a city where police have nothing better to do then particpate in pranks to rib the IWC. Yeah, that was the whole idea. Prank the net. The police played along to entertain the fans who were there. I love how everything that happens is a well thought out plan against us. Plus, I doubt the cops were paged with "a baby is being beat on the corner of 9 & 20" and the cops said screw that, we're gonna play here.
Fökai 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 Wouldn't you love to be the house owner getting robbed as the police are busy playing a joke on the internet? Off-duty cop in patrol clothes. The WWE makes a contribution to the precinct, in return for the services of any officers they're not currently using. You know, a few years ago, the WWE used this practice almost on a weekly basis. You didn't think they were actually asking cops to come to the arena while ON duty, did you?
Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 The guy is lying. First you said he asked Eddie to sign something for his cousin, then asked him again. And later you said that your friend only said "Eddie", and then "Eddie" again. Your changing the story around, this is bull.

Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 BTW, i don't know if this site i'm looking at his correct or not, but looks accurate, but the last time the WWE had a house show in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, was in January 26, of 2003!! So I dunno, just checking stuff out here. When did your friend tell you this?
Enigma 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 The guy is lying. First you said he asked Eddie to sign something for his cousin, then asked him again. And later you said that your friend only said "Eddie", and then "Eddie" again. Your changing the story around, this is bull. No, someone was disputing that he said Eddie's name 15 times. I was stating that he said his name twice because that was the issue. I don't understand why everyone is insisting that this has to absolutely be false and that I'm a lying asshole. I mean, you're making me out to be some kind of jackass when all I'm doing is telling you what I was told. Don't kill the messenger please.

Maybe he had a bad night. But he can't be going around doing this all the time. Hopefully Vince won't get wind of it, if it is true that is.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 If Vince McMahon hears about this, you know what's gonna happen. Bye Bye, WWF Title. Since when has Vince cared about fans? No, no, honestly, I'm serious here. Brock Lesnar quickly achieved a very high record of "this guy told me to scram" reports, and he's held on the title a total of how many months across three reigns? Guest Loss Report post Posted February 8, 2004 Ok, guys, when you use the QUOTE function, please edit. The thread is starting to look like a flow chart and is a little hard to follow. If you're responding to a specific part of a post, then quote the previous message, but if not, there's no need to do so. Thank you. Also, the fan put his hands on Eddy Guerrero. Fans should not put their hands on the wrestlers. Eddy got upset because he was yanked back, which most people would. When a wrestler is being approached for an autograph, the wrestler is being *asked* for an autograph and it's not a demand that he necessarily give it, especially if there are other things he has to do first. It may be considered a "verbal explosion" (which is more than a little melodramatic) when Eddy yells when someone grabs him, but a valuable life lesson is that if you're wanting a favor from someone, you approach them in the right way about it. Had Eddy been approached for an autograph after the show in a restaurant or something, yeah, he'd be overreacting and out of line. But he was approached in front of a live crowd and was doing business.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 This is hilarious. First of all this story is obviously bullshit. And the sheer number of people jumping on Eddie for it and then the number of people responding with "God! What's wrong with all of you!" is just mind boggling. Especially b/c the one's yelling at everyone for getting on Eddie are acting like the entire board is bashing on Eddie and you're the only one to run in and defend him.....seriously. Oh and I *love* how people complain that we talk about Randy Orton so much but in a thread that has NOTHING to do with him they are the ones to run in and start the fight and bring him up......amazing. Guest Loss Report post Posted February 8, 2004 This is turning into a "smark v anti smark" thread with sprinkles of Randy Orton hate when that had nothing to do with the original topic. I see no reason for this thread to stay open and I'm closing it.
