JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 I've never seen any of the WCW WW3 shows. Are any of the shows good? Are any of the actual WW3's watchable, or are they all just a big mess?
JHawk 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 The undercard of 95 was OK, but the battle royals were impossible to follow to any degree.

Guest Ray Report post Posted February 9, 2004 WWIII 1996 had Rey Misterio vs Ultimo Dragon, one of the best WCW cruiserweight matches ever.
cawthon777 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 I liked the first show. It had the same intrigue as Rumble 92, and I even thought Flair was going to win. The rest all have at least a few good things to check out. Eddie / Rey ... Ultimo / Rey ... but 98 totally blew.
MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 There's rarely a story going on in the WW3 battle royals. Just a bunch of guys getting thrown out of the ring (In later years, even through the ropes) until it's down to 8 or so and then it's alright. But that segment ends up taking 5ish minutes for a 30 minute battle royal. FWIW, one of my favorite WW3 moments came in 1997 when Mysterio was thrown out of the ring and onto the apron. nWo guys kept trying to kick him out, after several minutes, he was eliminated . . . . . BUT WAIT! He was still clinging onto the ring skirt. Incredible! Tenay was pumped. He clawed his way back in. Now, how was he really eliminated? I dunno, it was probably off camera like MANY of the eliminations.

Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted February 17, 2004 I was in the front row of WW3 in 96. BUT, by the wrong ring. I could barely see the action in Ultimo/Rey, and the two matches my ring got were... Chris Jericho vs. NICK F'N PATRICK, and a dissapointing Malenko vs. Psicosis match. Ehh. Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2004 I think the rule was if you touched the floor, you were eliminated regardless of going over the top rope. It was quite a clusterfuck to follow.

Don't forget that they allowed pinfalls and submissions in WW3 '98 as well.
