TSN reveals WM World Title match winner?

TSN has put an audio clip featuring Booker T talking about how he would love to face Chris Benoit for the World Title at Backlash in Edmonton. This could be an indication that Benoit will win the World Title at WrestleMania XX.

This sounds like they are talking it up a bit - that Booker T just said it would be a match he'd like to have or something. But as potential matches go, it's not bad.

best hint is when they leak out pics of Publicity shots of wrestlers holding the World title.... they keep saying they just do that and its not related, but when Undertaker did it in 99 he got the belt back... and others also got as lucky...

 

so look for reports of Benoit having pics made with the belt.

I remember back in late 1994, a tag team title match between HBK and Diesel against Bret Hart (then WWF Champion) and British Bulldog was planned for after Survivor Series...but later cancelled.

This is just Booker guessing Benoit will win and Booker saying he would like a match against him. Then people read it the wrong way and run with the story.

Now that they're moving in the direction they are going in (Benoit vs. HHH with Shawn as the Wild-card tweener), a logical main event at Backlash would be Benoit vs. Shawn (w/possible appearance by Bret). The match would be good and would have a lot of heat.

Uh yea.... Like Last time Benoit had matches for the WWF title in Canada...Lost it....both times!

I don't think Booker T and Benoit would match up too well now. The last time I saw them wrestle each other was on Raw in 2002, and it just didn't compare to their "Best of 7" WCW matches when Booker T wasn't injury prone back then.
