WWE has released some high profile names in the past few weeks including Brian Kendrick, Zach Gowen, and Chris Kanyon.

Well to be fair Zach Gowen was very high profile when he came in with him being pair with Hogan, the feud with Vince, Steph wanting to sign him, etc.

WWE.com has not issued a statement on their website regarding this release as they did earlier today regarding the Chris Kanyon release.

 

1Wrestling.com confirmed with a WWE source earlier today that more releases would be coming soon.

 

Kanyon received his release on Monday during a telephone conversation with John Laurinaitis, according to our source. The reason given for the release was that the creative team hadn't been able to find anything to do with Kanyon's character, and Lauranaitis told Kanyon he had been instructed by Jim Ross to give him his release.

 

1Wrestling.com's WWE source told us this morning to expect 4-6 releases over the next few days. If the Ernest Miller report is true, that's two in the last 48 hours and, along with Zach Gowen, is the third release in the last 7 days.

WWE almost never cuts people who are injured. I think Rosie may be injured, but I haven't watched Raw enough to tell. However, Rosie does anything asked of him, so he'll be around a long time I think.

 

Hossenfeffer--maybe they might realize he's old, sloppy, sucks, and doesn't really have too many definable upsides, and they'll cut him. However, it took like...what...3-4 months after he showed up on TV for them to ax Jones?
