I agree. Let's start with our current one and this Halliburton thing. And then we can move on to see if we can find any more people besides one who remembers meeting him in the Guard, and will swear to it in court. I know that if I met the son of a well-known Congressman in the service, I'd remember it.

 

And then, when he's finally left the White House, we can all gripe about what an ineffective President he was when his power was being heavily circumvented by all these independent investigations being commissioned to look into his past.

This is a non-event that will make bigger headlines on the National Enquirer than on the Wall Street Journal. It was cast into the court of public opinion the day after it broke where it was cast off as rumormongering.

 

And yes, Kerry has denied it:

Senator Kerry himself said initially: "There is nothing to report" and then when that was challenged as a Clinton style non-denial, he stated clearly enough: "I just deny it categorically. It's untrue."

 

I'm not a Kerry fan, but this "story" is old and it has no legs left.

I don't have a lot of time to respond to your drivel, but I'll say this:

 

It's obviously not a secret that I'm a Bush supporter.

 

I wouldn't call it "blind support," though. Right off the top of my head, I can think of two things Bush supports/has endorsed that I do NOT agree with. His immigration amnesty plan makes my blood boil, and I do not think that there should be a constiutional amendment banning gay marriage. Is that "blind support?"

 

I do feel that Bush has done a reasonably good job as President. Does he have his faults? Yes. Do I think that we'd be better off with John Kerry or John Edwards or Howard Dean, et al. instead? No. Unless something drastically changes between now and November, I can't see myself voting for anyone else but Bush.

 

I don't fawn over the guy, though, and will criticize him when I feel it's necessary. You, however, hate everything about him. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you think about killing him when he visited your country last time? Yeah, you're real objective. I really don't know why I'm even bothering responding to your "posts."
